The new age-change won't affect the Pro leagues at all
Might impact teams coming up. I believe even the uncapped leagues are going to be subdivided into Elite and such.No they wont...
Worldwide Professional = World League (no subdivisions)
National Pro = 8 Pro leagues (no subdivisions)
Regional Pro is essentially AAA (would assume subdivisions begin here)
The whole reason DD suggested these name changes was to appease those that want to see "highschool"/ "college"/etc progressions that mimic RL progressions. It was idiotic of him to change the name of WL/Pro and essentially create four pro levels.
Regardless, this is the perfect opportunity to add the idea that jdbolick is resuggesting. Simply make "National Pro" what is being proposed and bump the 8 Pro leagues to the "Regional Pro" level. It we dont do this now there will be more reluctance to add a level between "Worldwide" and "National".
Essentially look something like this...
League - Word League - Min Age 321 days - Max Age - Uncapped (Why change the name of this???)
League - Regional Pro - Min Age 321 days - Max Age - Uncapped (this encompasses jdbolicks current suggestion from suggestion forum)
League - Pros (will still retain the 8 regions) - Min Age 281 days - Max Age - Uncapped
League - AAA - Min Age 241 days - Max Age - 280 days
League - National Minor - Min Age 201 days - Max Age - 240 days
League - Regional Minor - Min Age 161 days - Max Age - 200 days
League - Local Minor - Min Age 121 days - Max Age 160 days
League - University - Min Age 81 days - Max Age 120 days
League - Prep - Min Age 41 days - Max Age 80 days
League - Advanced - Min Age 1 day - Max Age 40 days
League - Fundamental - Min and Max Age = 0 days
