Translation: Even though average teacher salary of the nation is 50K, I can make 19K sound like more than 50K. Just like I can make sucking every season in GLB a great achievement.

You guys have no idea how pity it is to live in Wisconsin.

With you as a neighbor, I'm getting a good idea of how horrible it can/has been...

Final rankings for the season.

WEEK 16 - LION
1 Fulham Flying Hellfish (16-0) - Undefeated but are they still the favorites to make the Championship game.

2 Franchise (14-2) - Easy win for Franchise as they get set to face Wallachia in the first round.

3 Cagliari Outbreak (14-2) - Dominated Sahara. They have to get ready to face a tough squad in the first round as CWE is coming to town.

4 Massawa Redhorns (13-3) - All rested up after what was essentially a bye week. Big game in the first round against the Demons.

5 San Francisco Demons (12-4) - A very solid win as their offense just ran the ball all over Zambezi's defense.

6 Carthaginian War Elephants (12-4) - Solid 30 point win over Sun City. Their defense will be put to the test in the first round.

7 Wallachia Wamphyri (10-6) - Had to hold off a late game surge by LHC to come away with a 9 point win. They'll have to play much better than that if they want to beat Franchise in the 1st round.

8 Kenya Diggits (7-9) - Just got a taste of what they'll face in the first round of the playoffs.

9 Sahara Storm (7-9) - A week after falling out of the playoffs Sahara got dominated by Cagliari. One has to wonder if they just put no effort in to a game that meant nothing or if Outbreak just flat out beat them badly.

10 Sun City Undertakers (5-11) - The Undertakers have shown some great improvement the last few weeks even if they only picked up 2 wins. Like the rest of the bottom teams they could really make a run at the playoffs next season with more improvement.

11 Uganda Silverbacks (5-11) - Uganda had a rough season but had shown many signs of progress as their chemistry got higher. They should be a solid force next season.

12 Zambezi Silverbacks (4-12) - Showed a few signs of life throughout the season. They'll have some work to do in the offseason but they should be at least a middle of the pack team next season if they make no changes.

13 LHC Naked Turtles (3-13) - Put up a fight in the 4th quarter but it was too little, too late by that point.

14 Sterling Bulldawgs (3-13) - The Bulldawgs wrap up their rough 1st season in Pros with a win.

15 West Yorkshire Bandits (3-13) - Rough loss against Sterling as they only managed 18 minutes of TOP.

16 IRONTON TANKS (1-15) - Lost. Rinse. Repeat.

WEEK 16 - ELEPHANT
1 Nairobi Warthogs (16-0) - Like the #1 seed in Lion, the Warthogs wrapped up their season with another win to get to 16-0. Unlike Fulham however, Nairobi is looking like the clear cut #1 team in not only Elephant but the entire APL.

2 Sons of Anubis (15-1) - A week after taking their first loss of the season SoA needed a late game push to come away with the win against ICB. SoA held a narrow 10-6 lead going into halftime before jumping ahead more early in the 3rd Q with another 10 points. ICB would not lay down though as they put up 7 near the end of the 3rd to make the game SoA 20, ICB 13. The 4th Q was chaotic as ICB went on to score another 10 unanswered points to take the lead 23-20 with under 2 minutes to play. SoA showed their grit though as they got into FG position within 40 seconds to tie the game up. With just over a minute remaining the Breakers floundered on offense going 3 and out and only taking the clock down to 52 seconds thanks to some incomplete passes on 2nd & 3rd downs. ICB was forced to punt and after a 46 yd return SoA was on the 6 yd line with time winding down and no timeouts. SoA managed to spike the ball with 7 seconds left in the game and nailed the easy 22 yd FG to come away with a 3 yd win.

3 Windhoek White Rhinos (12-4) - The Rhinos wrapped up their season with 3 solid wins and only 1 loss since week 7. This will be a deadly team in the playoffs.

4 The Black Hand (12-4) - TBH continues to play their cards close to their vests. One has to wonder what tricks they'll pull out of their sleeves when the playoffs start.

5 The Dead Presidents (12-4) - TDP hasn't been as dominating as they were in the earlier parts of the season but who can argue with winning. They've got a tough road ahead with a road game against WWR.

6 Black Sea Sunami (10-6) - Another solid win for BSS. After a rough first half they bounced back and put up 6 wins in the last 8 games of the season.

7 Ivory Coast Breakers (10-6) - See SoA. If that was any real indication of both these teams playing at their peak then the first round game will be another wild game. The question is whether SoA was really game planning when they knew a loss would do nothing to their seeding.

8 Angola Blood Diamonds (8-8) - ABD needed a strong second half showing to narrowly escape with a 3 point win.

9 Zimbabwe Rebels (6-10) - The Rebels loss to ABD that cost them a playoff spot seems to have taken all the air out of their tires the rest of the season.

10 Guyana Generalissimo's (7-9) - Took an easy one against Darfur and this is another team that looks set to have a solid season 18.

11 The African Predators (6-10) - Impressive first half shows they will be better next season but in the end they lost a narrow 4 point lead when they gave up 14 to TDP.

12 Kickin Djibouti (4-12) - A rough season for Kickin. They weren't very competitive but did manage a win over Zimbabwe and put up a fight against ABD which leads one to believe this team should do better than 4 wins next season.

13 Ron's Texans (3-13) - The Texans haven't won many this season but if the last 4 games are any indication this is a team on the rise next season.

14 MaRAWK!!o Evil Aces (3-13) - A disappointing season for the Aces with the on highlight being an upset win over Zimbabwe.

15 Darfur Depopulators (3-13) - Darfur took a big beating week 16 but like a few other they managed to play some close games this season. More often than not that wasn't the norm though.

16 Wrightstown Tigers (0-16) - Done for good as they've decided to fold up shop.
