If it's the agenda of some of the posters here that the trophy game should be played against a team like Monmouth or Drygerian then I would suggest that agents on such teams refrain from repeated posts like: "lolscrimmmages" " we don't try in games much less scrimms" "this trophy is a joke" etc.

As has already been mentioned in this thread multiple times, this defense was slotted to be a WL Zeta team. Next defense, no matter who wins, will be against a Pro level team. I hope Manus gets the shot. They aren't the best non-WL team out there, imo, but they are from somewhere else than USAPL, which should quiet the bitching.
There's 2 options for the next defense:
1- Challenge the toughest opponent (Nashville, MM, NJB). The people who get pissy about USAPL teams getting all the shots will hate this option.
2- Challenge the toughest opponent from somewhere other than USAPL (Manus, possibly (POSSIBLY) GRitS). The people who are calling Bonn out for taking on lesser opponents will hate this option.

i kind of feel like you're putting it on the line every game you play in WL. i don't think you'll lose this regular season, but if you did you would have a chance to reclaim it during the playoffs.

Maybe for the next challenge, which would be vs Pro team regardless if it's Bonn/OTRRD, we could arrange the top US contender and the top non-US contender to square off and the winner gets the next Trophy challenge.

That's actually a good idea. I would say Nasville vs Manus, would be a good game.

WW is about to play Manu in a ranked scrim tomorrow. The Wolfpack couldn't do scrims because of painmaker's absence but now that it is Hazy's team they're trying to get some games out there. Pain's dots still have 20-25 unused sp and no training or new equip but have still been playing really well. Should be an interesting test for manu as until then they haven't registered a win over a really good team yet (krazy and machu were unranked so i assumed some testing was going on)

It was some tournament we played in season 8 and won really easily (an AAA tourney i think). The guy/mod said at the start there'd be a trophy or something and i guess Bort finally got around to it in a timely fashion....
