just had the most frustrating games back to back to back lol

idk what is going on with EA servers tonight, but i kept getting an error stating "you have been logged out of EA servers - you will not be able to save your stats and progress" or something along those lines. completed the first game and won and when i went back to the franchise menu, game showed up as un-played. i played again and was down 14-0 then got the same error around a quarter or so in, super simmed to the end, same issue when i completed the game. took 3-4 play throughs to finally stop getting that error and by that point i was so frustrated i ended up just rushing through the game and losing like 16-3 haha

Yea i had a game not count on another franchise. So frustrating.

I've noticed my OL getting a load of holding penalties. Guess I'll have to work on their penalty trait in the offseason.

i havent adjusted the penalties at all but i did notice that in those last few games i played last night i seemed to have a lot of holding penalties but that is because i was getting blitzed pretty hard and under pressure alot

Not in this league, but in another league I had a game not count after the game seemed to freeze (just the background and bottom scrolling ticker showing) when the game was done going back to the main league page

yea for some reason I've noticed more holding penalties too... I wonder if it's maybe a side-effect from the blocking/pass rush slider... that has been proven as an issue in previous versions of madden, or maybe due to gameplay changes with the most recent update

We'll see how my game today goes... I feel like it's been ages since I've played, haha. With a lock on the 1 seed in the NFC, I might just fiddle with some stuff.

Only a couple more games to play. Would be nice to sim it tonight to push things along if thats possible.

In additon to this league, I might join another... anyone know a good forum/site to find other cfm leagues to join?

lol just realized 99 fumbles was actually giving everybody max carry grip, i adjusted it down to 20. i tested it on 1 and caused the other teams rb to fumble 3 times (2 of them were strips) so i figure 20 might be pretty solid for a good 1-3 fumbles a game to be a bit more realistic in that sense.

also realized its impossible to throw accurately in the wind/snow at 35 so i adjusted and moved it up to 40 which is about as high as we've ever had it but i think everyone was getting a bit annoyed with where the accuracy settings were at regardless of the fact most online realism sliders for all madden have acc at 15/15 or 20/20

made sure to drop holding a bit and up false start a bit. feel like i rarely see false starts and i think the holdings were happening a bit too often

Yea those realism sliders were made based on previous installments. They had those sliders up like immediately and it takes time to test stuff out. Way too many variables and new mechanics added and taken out each year.

I'd prefer to get the playoffs started as soon as possible but at this pace doesn't seem like that'll happen until late this week. Call me impatient but I preferred the pace of the first half of the season more than the second half.

In the main league I was in a few years back I found that it was very efficient to set a hard schedule on when to play games for the week. For example every week was simmed every two days, practically no exceptions. Though back in Madden 13 you could allow a human vs human game to be played as human vs. CPU if one of the guys couldn't play which made things easier. From what Sov was saying I guess that's not possible with this madden but I don't know why it would be different.

I could care less. Just move forward somewhat brisk. I don't need any set amount of time to move forward but if that's how it is so be it.

agreed... best way to do it is have a set schedule

M/W/F advancing at night seems like it's definitely doable without messing up peoples schedules. I just joined two other CFMs that do that.
