You don't need cable to watch local NFL games, just an antenna. Osmlogic.

Yeah, but he demands HD streaming content with commercials that are tailored to his personal tastes. Is that too much to ask for?

smite me, oh mighty smiter.

People already do that--we're just doing it on a football simulation's discussion forum.

Nah Osmo is pretending that he's doing it because cable subscriptions are too expensive and won't offer what he wants, when he can stream every out of market game for a lower price in HD, and he could watch Pats games with a friend if he had friends.

Well hell, I demand that ONLY Carl's Jr commercials be run during my HD broadcasts.

But he stopped posting because he ran out of weak outs for his argument.

Music sales are way, way down compared to what they were a decade ago. http://www.forbes.com/sites/hughmcintyre/2014/08/30/us-album-sales-hit-new-all-time-low/

Say 100 Hail Steve's followed by 100 I shall not Sean Parkers and all is forgiven in the eyes of the Bill.

sounds about right

i download tv shows and stream football games

but I pay for cable, its just a matter of watching them at my convenience. I feel like I am not cheating the system tbh.

Because we don't have powerhouse music lords like Britney Spears, N'Sync, and the Spice Girls to fill our desires for awesome music, or because Michael Jackson is dead?

I mean, music could be down because people aren't listening to their own music as often. When I used to have music on, I now have the option for Netflix, internet radio, Sirius, or an audio book.

I bought three albums in the last two weeks, but I haven't had the time to listen to any of them all the way through yet.

I'm sure there are many different reasons behind it, but the fact remains that music sales have cratered.

Yet not because people are stealing it more often, which was the real argument.

Sure. Osmo had the same ridiculous argument as the music industry about static demand meaning a direct correlation between sales and piracy.
