Now I'll comment on the counters, I held back earlier. While they are extremely dangerous to the unprepared (tactically and build-wise), specifically due to the number of blockers out in front, they are stoppable. If you run through my last 10 or so games you'll find the common trend is pancakes and missed tackles. If a team calms both those storms, with the right play choices they'll deal just fine. And QCB is built for demoralizing/tiring you so you've got to look at my team as the far side of the spectrum in terms of counters. Even if you play it well tactically, without the builds the dam will break. They aren't gold for all teams.
You can even go CB heavy in just a C3 if you have the right secondary builds.
That all being said, I would advocate for some mildly easier reads to recognize a counter by LBs and other defenders closer to the play. That's a minor tweak needed, not something major like I think others would call for. The reality is that builds always need time to adjust to exposed weaknesses.
My problem with them now is that you have to beat the play with your DE's beating the OT. The way the defenders recognize it seems off to me. My defense pretty good Blitz Awareness which I would think should help with it and they normally over shoot the play. Same issue with WR screens, the enter secondary takes off to the QB no matter the awareness level. Thankfully I was able to exploit the bug where defenders get stuck in the middle of now where to stop them in the league championship game.
