When you make a major change like this, go full bore. If you want teams at every level to be on an even playing field to start under the new rules, reset all cash and stadiums to the presets listed earlier and let everyone compete on that playing field.

Only doing so for future demotions still leaves countless teams with maxed stadiums and massive war chests in the lower levels and sadly those teams will maintain that advantage while others (under the new rules) aren't able to exploit the system like they did.

I'm not at all saying don't implement the rule -- I think its way past due -- but it unfortunately doesn't cover everyone and that is a problem.

I understand, and it's sucky, but I feel like I can't in good conscience start resetting everyone's teams based on a brand new rule. We debated on adding the rule, hemmed and hawed, and that's our fault, not the owners'.

Some people are already annoyed by the new rule, even with warning. Retroactively enforcing it is not something they're going to stand for IMO.

Over time, those teams will weed out as they demote again or promote back to the higher ranks where it doesn't matter as much.

This game is suppose to still be beta so why not get all these things figured out and do a total reset refund all the FP players currently have in teams/players and start this thing up with everyone on equall grounds and take this thing out of beta..it seems to me liek that beta sign is only still there as a crutch and should have been removed already

So by your logic since I sold my old team back that had a full stadium if I get another team this offseason it should have a full stadium?

Who said anything about giving up and starting over? I've been an owner since season 8, have fielded playoff teams every season, pay for all equipment for all my players. With the increase of people going to be retiring after this season I will be choosing to demote down and already have a bunch of the same agents on my team currently who will be making players for my team. So why am I to be punished since I have a full stadium and have to start over? Spending real $$ every season to keep a team that is what should allow a team owner an advantage. What makes me want to buy FP and extend my ownership now if I have to start all over from what I started in season 8?

Being here longer than a new owner shouldn't translate to an in game advantage. Your advantage is that you know all the pitfalls of ownership and can make better decisions for your team based on that experience.

No, you're wanting to run a marathon against less experienced players and start yourself at the last 20 yards. Seriously, think about it from outside your own team bubble. You're mad that your stadium is going away if you decide to go it at a lower level. The 31 other owners in the league are mad that you're coming into their playground with a head start.

But i do prefer cash meaning less to the players performance at the expense of the teams cash being unimportant

Ive posted this it seems like 100 times in this thread getting rid of the cash to players would be a great scenario all around since it is going to be virtually useless anyway

Major changes to the system call for a total reset
Next seaosn would be a great opportunity to do such with all the major changes
Almost every mmorpg does so at some point during beta

I prefer reducing the cost of equipment and giving agents other things to spend money on that is not sim related.

More like 15-20 owners cause others were able to be demoted the previous season with full stadiums and keep them
