Its sad that Mod's have to lock threads that we don't start. Where is the freedom of speech on GLB?

I think mods prefer the way most forums are: about 10-12 posts a day, all boring, and nothing worthwhile.
Some of the mods are obviously IT guys without much business sense, because locking the threads that have a lot of action and relatively innocent smack talk doesn't make much isn't a wise business move, IMAO. Smack talk gets our pride/egos involved which equates in us spending more of our earned $$$$$, IMAO.
I posted something similar to this on the SA Pro forum last year, and scarlet gets it, but I'm not sure if any of the others do.
Summary: Some mods need to have their legs swept.

As loathe as I am to agree with CK, they got it right on this one. The mod here doesn't have an idea how to keep a forum under control and is just firing off some shotgun rulings.
I believe that allowing CK to overrun the forum is bad for this league as well as the game as a whole, that it keeps people who may want to be more involved from doing it. But once Scarlet sanctioned the act of allowing CK to make themselves the single focal point of the league by trying to "localize" their presence, then that's how the league should be from then on out, as distasteful as some may find it. You can't put the genie back in the bottle.
To Scarlett: At the beginning of next season, when you have a chance to get things under control, keep this and other threads in mind. Make the decision on how the forum will be conducted at the beginning of the season and enforce it. If you decide to allow hooligans to hijack everything in sight, you have to live with that decision for the season. To suddenly change the rules undermines the faith in your ability to do your job with any consistency.
To Bort: Please set some standards for mods. Make sure they know what is expected of them. I know that forums are very nebulous and there will always be grey areas/posts/posters/threads. Set some rules that aren't too rigid, that allow some latitude but still set some standards, and make sure that everyone in the game knows they will be enforced. Then make sure the mods enforce them even-handedly and accurately.

The Cobra Kai are a great football team, and alright trash talkers.
Seriously though? It has been lacking as of late. Pulling out to many of the same cards, and it doesn't seem original or new anymore. I expect better smack talk from the Cobra Kai!
Have a nice day

It's not supposed to be new or original. It's from an 80's movie ffs
