That's more or less what I'm hoping for. At least I'll never have to hire someone for it if I decide to do work on my own house

Things that require stricter passwords than my bank are ridiculous.

Fucking itunes. You'd think nuclear launch codes were stored on my account or something. Mistype it once? Have to reset. Oh, you're resetting? Can't use a password that you've ever used before. Oh, thought of a new one that you might remember? Oh, you have to add numbers to it. Oh, added numbers? Now you need capital letters.

Go to hell Apple. You can keep the three albums that I have on my account, and I'll keep the 8 dollars that I was going to give you for the fourth.

Worst thing with Apple accounts is trying to move your account off an old email. There are definite bugs on their back end.

And of course if you then own an iPhone it'll just ruin your day altogether.

Yeah, but I can stay logged in longer at certain financial sites without any recent activity than I can at Goal Line Blitz!

Sounds like some sketchy financial sites.

All of the ones I use have like a 5 minute timeout.

Someone named Brenda just tried using my email address to reset their password. My name sounds nothing like Brenda.

Late night thoughts: What does a conductor even do?

Now I played an instrument for 3 years as a kid but even then I didn't notice our conductor. All the musicians with a conductor present are either staring at their music or feeling it with their eyes closed. If he wasn't up there to wave his hands and a stick about, what would really even happen?

Youngish people: take care of your hearing. Don't blast your headphones and take earplugs to concerts because living the rest of your life with tinnitus is annoying.

The conductor controls what otherwise would be 'feeling'. A bunch of individuals being minuscule amounts off in beat or crescendo would throw everything off. You've got so many people all playing different music to come together for one unified sound.

Yes you watch your sheet music but you also watch the conductor.

Ethics problem for you guys:

So Im starting my new job in a liquor store, which will be my first actual w-2 job. It's not my first choice but I'm not in a place to be picky. Shortly after I accept their offer, but before even my first day, I get an offer from a pharmacy which is much more in line with what I want to do. Would adding 2 jobs immediately and letting them work around each others schedules be acceptable? I don't want to turn down a job but if I were to do so, it'd be the liquor store, whom I'm just short of a contract with. How bad would it be to tell the liquor store no at this point?

+1. That's what I'm hoping for. They're both part time positions, and it's summer, so I should have a good 2 months of being free to ingratiate myself to them before school starts and scheduling gets tricky.
