check out the morale on our OL here literally on the 3rd play of the game: https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/514631/261828
yes we ran that play for a TD and went on to win like 90-0 regardless, but the point still remains that 2 plays into a game should a well built OL be at 20-30 morale with one as low as 13%? what exactly could have caused that much morale drain in 1 ST return and 1 positive run play?
to jump ahead, up 56-0 in the 3rd (no turnovers, barely any incompletions, and only 1 TFL to this point) and half the team is around 10-20 morale: https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/514631/264839
just does not seem to add up, even with the 60 rev cakes we took this game, we had a near perfect game on offense and still had poor morale all game from 2 plays in.
edit: just wanted to state that i am not trying to complain or beat a dead horse about this, just posting for examples since admins seem to be actively reviewing
Interesting to note. Mark Texiera and Jorge Posada both have pancakes on the opening kick off and come back to play 2 with 47 and 37 morale. Even more confusing is that Texiera goes to 10 morale 2 plays later despite holding his blocks well. Maybe the DE has high amounts of intimidation I don't know.
