This wasn't what was stated in your original post, and teams could always look at past games to scout your tactics. I understand what you are saying here, but I think that you also understand why other teams were upset with your post.

i do understand why they got upset but there is no reason to react in that fashion. there is also nothing unsportsmanlike about it at all whatsoever. what i posted in my original post should have been plenty. we're all sports fans here. we all understand that teams will do this from time to time and they do not get called out on sportscenter for it.

There is a difference between putting in the scrubs and running a vanilla plan and just throwing a game completely

starting to think it's not so bad being out of it.

this is just backpedaling. it's not like your tactics have been diverse- you could have just left in the same tactics you've had all along. instead you threw the game. and then you're pretending it's some strategic move- when really you ANNOUNCED you're throwing the game.

that last one made zero sense to be perfectly honest. my point remains valid. did anyone trash the eagles for resting their players and running james harrison all game vs. the cowboys? trust me, every eagles fan ever born wants the beat the cowboys every game we play them but none of us complained when the eagles front office made their decision. it was theirs to make.

what do you mean? we ran a vanilla gameplan...that's what basic tactics are. you have no argument here. if we had played people out of position or made any other adjustments at all whatsoever, you might have a point, but we didn't. we ran vanilla tactics. that's all we did.
