Yeah, people love talking about their k/d ratio in ball. It's retarded.

If you can identify the people who are ratio crazy, you can actually use it to your teams advantage. I'll frequently fly by the other teams goal, have 3 people chase me to kill me, but i'm in a loopy so I manage to evade them pretty decently and drag them away from their goal, and then someone else on my team scores on the empty net. lolratiofgs

My ratios always kick ass, but that's because whenever I'm about to fly I fly back towards my net to defend, pick up health, and keep going. My teams win a bit more than they lose.

lol yeah, that's teh other thing. you'll see people hurting their team to stay alive (repair drone comes to mind).

i'll often die on purpose, if i figure that's the quickest route back to play defense (large map with no wrap around when the other team is attacking and i'm out of position)

They are like "omg look at my k/d"...but they never crossed the halfway point of the map >_>

Especially that fucking elljbyrd or whatever his name is. Asshole always votes to change map to football, but he doesn't even fucking play ball, he just farms k/d. He just likes football because he can bomber spam it easier.

I do realize that I spent my first week just killing lots of people...but at least I didn't vote to change the map to a retarded map so i could kill better >_>

I once had a ridiculous long-range shot, I didn't even realize that I was the person that had scored, I was just trying to pass it in the hopes somebody from my team could pick it up near their goal.

Hey, I don't always cross the halfway point of the map when I use the bomber, but I play defense with it. And I can't count how many times repair drone has helped me kill more and more oncoming attackers because they go after me rather than helping their teammates.

Yeah, I use bomber but I make multiple saves per game with that thing.

Also, speaking of sick goals, does DB remember that one where I bounced it off the ceiling, went around that guy, picked the ball back up and scored?

It was darkwar and you were near the bottom of the map, I was hauling ass towards the ball after you shot it and died dramatically a second before your shot went it
