Unless things change I give this game a shelf life of at most 3 more seasons.

I imagine he'll stop now that the demand is down.

You think wrong, word is out that the game is going down, now he will milk it for everything he can until 50-60% of the player base leaves once they reach season 10 and lose all the high level players, then your asked to spend even more FP, yet Bort has not it through in that hes giving back 60% of the money spent on flex so no one will buy for the better part of a year and he will be losing money each month and then bam games gone down the tubes.

Who knows. I haven't seen very many smart business decisions from them.

Agreed.

Customer service is very poor for a game this large, You talking about 100,000s of thousands changing hands and we have a good old boys mod pool? We have no contact from Bort other than random post with no way to track them? We have insane post from DD where more often then not he is insulting or banning a paying customer. We get no warning of game changing other than a quick four sentence post saying gibberish that no one can decipher until the season is over and they have collected your cash for the next one.

They give you an advance AI interface so clumsy and unresponsive it takes to long to set up that security measures in place kick you off the site as you work on it. We see the RNG take a sim by the horns at pure random, yes I am aware of the irony of being mad at a RNG for being random, no feed back on whats a correct build, mind numbing attributes like vision and confidence that everyone has an opinion on. No fun for players and to much work for owners and GMs, unresponsive to problems until its to late aka gutting. Unequal treatment if the player has an alpha tag.

These are just some of the issues the game has.

Some very interesting thoughts on the game and I believe some to be spot on.In order for it to have a long shelf life he will have to come up with things players can do in between games and seasons.I also believe he will have to do a manual revamping of the leagues to place competive teams with the same.

Technically the game is still in beta, right?

Cerneo, that is by far the most well thought out post I've seen you make since I've been here and I agree with you 100%. I'd be lying if I said I haven't considered withdrawing my investment from this game due to those very reasons. This game stopped being a beta when they started raking in major cash, and its becoming apparent that Bort intends to continuing his venture pretty much solo, along with his handful of loyal Alphas.

I can certainly understand your frustration and if things don't improve I may have to follow suit.

Updates to the game need to be let known to the users without the users having to go through the forums to find them out. I'm sure there is a way that Bort can send everyone a PM with the new updates or just put it in the announcements. Having to go through the forums and read into the nerfs done to different things is not easy especially for someone that doesn't use the forums.

Yes it is but at the same time it is raking in some serious cash.Customers feel they should get a retun on their investment and that is why players with nothing to do but train in between games needs something to do.If they do not implement this you will have teams that are for the most part stocked with their own players.Reason being the indivual will leave the game due to lack of interest.

The word Beta is useless in the MMO community, and thats where I come from. What you see is what you get in this modern age, stuff does not change other than simple bug fixes. But when you hide 'game fixes' as bugs for the beta when what they really they are changes at the core of the game thats not beta, thats called alpha. We are in early, early alpha.

Agreed, they released this to the masses way too early. Like it or not the future of their product is controlled by supply and demand. If they keep pissing where they eat then it will run its course sooner rather than later.

good post Cerneo. I think DD is a huge problem and Bort would be better off without him. He seems to be lacking in the Customer Service build

I think the worst part is, it's not really fun after you get to level 20+, when in fact, shouldn't it get more fun???
