this is a tough conference.
slovakia is a very solid team that can beat anyone on any given day. i worry everytime we play them. i look for a HUGE year out of them in season 5, and they are one of maybe 3 league championship contenders as i see it.
london (death monkeys) i expect will be the most improved team next season. that is a game that i will be paying much more attention to in the upcoming season. i have a feeling they're gonna sneak up on a few teams and pull some "upsets". dont take them lightly in season 5.
recklinghausen is great all the way around. i have a feeling they will be in the top 2 or 3 teams next season, if not #1. another sleepless night for me the night before we play them.
real macouts has some real fire-power. they can score on, and defend anyone in the league. this was a down year for them, and they still had a very strong season. i have a feeling this season was a blip on the radar for them, and they will be back stronger than ever and in the top 4 next season.
amsterdam was much inproved this season, and i anticipate the same will happen next year. they have solid starters, and solid depth. they wont "wow" you at any position, but they can sneak up on you at any point and strike. look for a good year for them in season 5 as well.
john deere (previously croatia), if kept as presently constituted, had a breakthrough year recruiting-wise last offseason. if the builds progress like the recruiting has.....they could very well be a force in this league. all that depends, however, on the new ownership keeping the status-quo there.
san marino is a team i have a very uneasy feeling about. i think they had way too many bad breaks last season, and i'd be looking for that trend to change. thats always a team i worry about for a couple days before we play them. look for them to make a big push for a top 6 seed in the season 5 playoffs.
this is a difficult league. in season 3 there were cupcakes. in season 4......there werent. i had to gameplan like crazy for every single game, and i plan on gameplanning even harder for season 5. i really enjoy the competivness, and the rivalries here.
