Vikings lost their 1st game in the new league. They pretty much dominated this league. So it just goes to show everyone how tough it is when you move up a league.

I won't lie . . .
Canada AA 2 is one of the most competitive leagues I have ever seen. There is not a single easy game on our schedule and the "Elite" teams in our division out level us by 4-5 levels at almost every position.
We were fortunate to face 2 of those teams in our first 2 games lol.We fared well though, losing by just a TD against a team that destroys us on paper.I expect that we will be in the thick of the playoff battle but it's no cake walk.
To the Vikings and the Badgers, I wish you both well in AA. You both have been class teams in the short duration of Canada A #3 and should do well. To the Badgers congrats as you make our only quality win last season that much better that you advanced.
I am the new owner and former OC for the Ottawa Gators/Jaguars and have not been very active on the league forum, staying more involved in my team alone, but that will change.
So what is the deal with having so many players only signed through Day 40 of Season 5. I'm sure you have a ton of guys that would sign up for a longer deal.

Nothing wrong with that . . .
look down my roster and all you see for the most part is Season 5 day 40 contracts.Sure, I could lock 90% of my men up long term but it's always good to give them that option if things are not working out.Same for myself as an owner.
I believe it's just better for the player and team if the contracts stay short term.

Yeah. What he said. I'll probably be signing a lot of them to long term deals as the season goes on but that's about the gist of it.
