Cans, Im sorry to hear you guys couldnt keep it together. You guys are one of the best teams in Zeta, so this is another blow. I certainly do know your reasons and dont fault you guys for them at all. I know there has been four of you that have been rock solid trying to hold that team together. After losing agents like you did this season and putting together the run you did, I commend you. It gets time consuming and very expensive. I dont blame you, I blame the system right now. This game is going to continue to lose quality teams and owners if some things dont get changed soon.
I know the NITES are having the same problems as well. We still have enough owners hanging on, but we have a lot that are disgruntled with system. We used to have pages of game planning for each game, now we get a few posts. Football season, fantasy football, bortifications, the numerous guttings (which takes away the competitiveness) have all made some of our owners move on. Its sad, really. This game has a lot of potential.
Not meaning any disrespect to anyone, but how fun would this game be if we got to plan against teams like The Heat, Tits, WS, RT etc....every game. Knowing anyone can beat anyone. Instead half our schedule is gutted teams. Yeah, we've seen player interest take a nosedive too. Increasingly it's a smaller group of people holding everything together, and that's probably not a good recipe for long-term success. Hopefully all of the remaining teams will hold it together though- I know that the Burning Pride are reloading in a big way to make a strong push next season.

The honeymoon is definitly wearing off for a lot of people, but I still think this game is awesome.

I agree. This game is very addicting and has a lot of potential if some things are taken care of and done the right way.
Again, an announcement from Bort.........NEW teams are going to be added day 41. Of course, keep adding teams $$$$$$$$ cha ching, but dont take care of a glaring problem first....GUTTINGS! Adding a ton of new teams is only making the problem worse. First handle BIGTIME issues, then add teams later down the road. Problem with that is....this is too big a cash cow. Lets add more teams and make more money.
Im hoping a change is made soon that sends gutted teams to the bottom and promote teams up to take their spot. I know there are discussions going on, but I really hope it happens soon before I lose my interest in the game.

Yeah, seriously. Guttings just perpetuate more guttings. If we keep losing a team for every one that gets promoted, I don't know how long I'll last, personally, before I just say screw it, quit, and use the money saved for more beer on sunday.
