Since every Alert player/GM/owner seems to be retarded or didn't watch the game, allow me to enlighten you....
Maybe it wasn't good gameplanning on your part or bad gameplanning on our part. Maybe one of our players not listening to us for Tactics was the result? For some reason our #5 CB, Asante Samuel, was set to Far (when he was not supposed to), and this COMPLETELY changed the complexity of the game.
You converted on a TON of 3rd downs that kept our offense off the field and kept yours moving, some of which was a result of Asante's tactics.
Allow me to show you these plays:
3rd and 5: Asante allows 16 yard gain -- Leads to Touchdown
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=137632&pbp_id=91644862nd and 10.5: Asante allows 11.5 yard gain
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=137632&pbp_id=91649162nd and 16: Asante allows 20.5 yard gain
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=137632&pbp_id=91651184th and 10: Asante WOULD'VE allowed a first down had your WR not dropped it and COULD'VE changed the game
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=137632&pbp_id=9165041I can show you many other replays of Asante blowing coverage and allowing big gains, and ultimately that WAS the difference. Your offense had 22 more plays (77 to our 55). That is 100% on the defense and, imo, alot of it is on Asante being on the wrong setting because he isn't active and doesn't read the forums and for some reason being on Far setting. Even if Asante's man didn't allow the catch, Asante pulled one of our Safeties to his man which freed up other space.
One player can change the game, whether that be good or bad, I think Asante nearly did change the result of this game, had your player not dropped it. I PMed him inquiring him about his tactics and there has been no response, which just makes me laugh. I guess I made the wrong move signing him.
