LA Sharks remain solid - we're looking to make our way up the standings this season after a shaky first effort. I must say, we certainly were decent losers...played a lot of good teams pretty tough. This season, we'll see if we can't be decent winners

Noles lost maybe two backups and picked up one or two new back ups.Same team, and making sure we don't choke in the conference championship again!

It is going to be a heck of a lot harder for you to make the conference championship game this year.

USA A #1 WEST Top 8:

USA A #1 WEST Top 8:

Tallahassee Seminoles (8-0-0 1st Last Season)

Offense: Last year Tallahassee looked unstoppable right until the Denton Spartans started a late run that killed the league leading to them being promoted. Ranked #1 in almost every stat last year expect more of them same right out of the gate. They are lead by Big Tuna (1607.5/ 10/ 80.3). The rushing attack was also great all season with the rookie Tyrone Webb (710/ 7/ 5.1). They must keep a balanced attack early in the season and make sure they get hot at the end of the year.

Defense: The front four is lead by Peter Boulware (24/ 3) they had the second best pass rushing attack last year only beaten late by the late Spartan rush. The mid four is lead by Warrick Wolfe who controls the left side of the field for Tallahassee. They were great all season at ending outside runs. Finally the DB’s are lead by corner back Richard Johnson who was a monster making tackles all over the field and not allowing any big plays.

Caribbean Sphere (8-0-0 2nd Last Season)

Offense: Ranked mid table last year The Sphere lack an explosion quality, but they make up for it in hard nosed grit. They will work you all game until you break down and then they pick up points in a hurry. Quarterback Jim Plunkett (1321.5/ 5/ 66.7) had a great start at last season but then got mixed results as the lack of depth at wide out hurt him going into the play offs. A problem Sphere has yet to resolve. Although a gem of the Sphere offense is the dual attack of two speedy backs Iowa Jones and Grezbor Quam. They paired up for 958 yards in just 8 games.

Defense: Clearly the best part of sphere they had four shut outs last season a monster effort. Leading the front four is Cerneo Quam a hard hitting run stoping force. The middle backs are lead by Bizzy Beast a quick and strong force killing rushes up the middle all year. In the back they have a lot of depth even after losing some in the off season, a lot of play makers being lead by Alese D.

Houston Orangebloods (6-2-0 3rd Last Season)

Offense: A disappointing season for the Bloods last year lead to a first round plays off outing. This year they will need to rally behind Dean Cochran (364.5/ 2/ 62.2) also they need more results from Hodges Mitchell even though he only got into five games last season. The only real strength left here seems to be the O-Line they had a good year last year and that should keep going.

Defense: The Bloods looked great on this side of the ball last year allowing only 69 points. Front four clearly lead by Jake Rock who was a true rock for the team last year. When people got by the Rock, Mikkel Mørk was right there to make the play. Jeeker Landem was ready to shut down the run all year.
K-Town Hates Phil (5-3-0 4th Last Season)

Offense: K-Town had some rough breaks last season, you better expect them to be front runners all year for this one. Billy Badazz (1127.5/ 6/ 69.6) had a killer season and he will pick up where he left off. Justin #3 Smith leads a four headed rushing attack aimed at wiping the defense off the field by the second quarter.

Defense: Nitsud Skraps, Nitsud Skraps, Nitsud Skraps this guy is a fucking stud. That’s basicly it for K-Town….No no only joking. Mike Sheahan made tough tackles all year followed by billy yomamma making huge plays on every inch of the field.

Chicago "MB" Bears (5-3-0 5th Last Season)

Offense: Louis Cannon (658/ 2/ 58.6) he must get some results this year after a near bipolar play level last year. Steve Blazer needs to find the holes better opened by the killer O-Line that MB has. Also the depth they had a WR should help a great deal this season.

Defense: When they played well and kept the offense on the field, they won. When they got down games got away from them. Shagg Nasty will need to keep the same level of play he left off at last year. Scott Badalamenti made it his goal to fill holes and stop sweeps and proved to be quite good at it, expect more of the same. If MB has a weakness this is it. Wes Owens was the only player to put up stats last year and why the front 7 are playing well the passing attacks have been halted for the most part. How long can they keep that up though?

Texas Roughnecks (4-4-0 6th Last Season)

Offense: Andrew Matsis (999/ 5/ 58.5) A yard short of a 1k season Matsis should have a good year. The Tick averaging just over 50 YPG he will need to up his play level or the Balcos will become one sided.

Defense: The front four are inexperienced and lacked leadership last year, something they must change early in the season. A problem that was helped due to the outstanding play of Crash Thurman who had over 50 tackles. John Smithee will need to keep the intensity up in the secondary.

Oklahoma City Outlaws (4-4-0 7th Last Season)

Offense: John Crow, a lot of blame has been placed on his poor play and in this case it is rightly so. He must up his level of play substantially in a shirt amount of time unless he wants to be picked apart by secondarys all year. Herschel Moreno also had a poor year only picking up 240 yards in 8 games.

Defense: Much like Balco they lack a strong front four, something I am sure they worked on in the off season. Cody Reynolds had to take up the slack and racked up 50 tackles, all the players the front four missed. Franklin Dabeast tackled anything Reynolds missed.

Dallas Horns (3-5-0 8th Last Season)

Offense: Lead by QB Mister Clean (1,103.5/ 7/ 64.2) and rushing attack lead by Muddy Rush, had mixed results. When they got going they were strong but it seemed most of the time they had no idea what they were doing on the field.

Defense: Sticky Wang, was indeed sticky, sticking to things over 30 times last season. Puffy Wang…ah fuck it if you name is silly I ignore you from now on.

Allen Zephyrs

Offense: Zephyrs come in a bit inexperienced for the A1. They will need to struggle for wins all season. Under center is Doc Jenkins, a young QB coming off a mixed rookie season. In the back field they have CA Dupin, an underachiever for sure.

Defense: TreJohn Beaudreaux heads up the 4-3 formation blowing up the O-Line and stoping the run. James Mithril is about the only great player the Zep’s have he will really need to step up this season to aid in avoiding relegation. FS Katchun Zees will help all over the field and should have a good season.

Dallas Death

Offense: Two words, Rookie QB. Arstechnica cjx opens his first season for the Death and he must get results out of the gate. Cyrus Chigurh will lead the rushing attack, but he is unproven only get a measly 34 carries all of last season. Death better hope for some quick improvement on this side of the ball.

Defense: Front four is weak here, strongest player would have to be LaCharles Aboyami, but even that’s not saying much. Kyle Steiner does what he can to clean up after the sloppy D-Line but its asking a hell of a lot. J'Jesusarkus Boolicious is a threat to QBs this year looking to get a lot more than the two picks he had last season.

Omaha Mavericks

Offense: The Mavs seem to be primed for a mid to high end playoff run this year. The offense seemed to wake up near the end last season. The capable large arm will look to improve his low numbers last year and he should be able to as long as the wide outs are up to the task. DC Rambo could be the weak point here, he is untested.

Defense: The front four is fantastic. They should be able to stop most rushing attacks cold. Punda Caguas is responsible for shut down of over the middle passes and should not need to worry to much about ruses up the middle leading him to having a good year. BJ Ganon will keep up his pace and should help lead the Mavs to a good season.

The Real Austin Longhorns

Offense: Real Austin lacks decisive play. They will need to be able to control games better than they did last season if they want results. QB Nathan Joiner will need to up his play if he wants to win games. Vondrell McGee, he must show more than he did last year. 24 YPG will not get the job down in any league.

Defense: Again the front four need a lot of work. They did not make much impact last year and need to really fight hard for every inch this season. Sadly the LB core also lacks passion and as a result Real Austin will not see good results until the front seven step up. The secondary will need to stop making all the plays if Real Austin wants to go far.

Los Angeles Sharks

Offense: Another great looking team here. BMF Coe played great all last year and you should expect more of the same. If anything bad can he said about the Sharks it’s the rushing attack. Steve Hawrus will need to fight hard this year.

Defense: Chris White leads the front four for the Sharks and he looks ready to pad his stats this year. William Anderson, an expert at tracking down elusive RBs is hungry for action and might be a star this year. The Secondary played fairly well last year but they need to be more focused on stopping the pass than worrying about the run.

Austin Longhorns

Offense: It’s a shame, Austin made almost no moves and look to be the same team that almost got them relegated. They will really need to play. Starting the season with a rookie QB, Chet McLawson a poor HB TA Xausted and a weak O-Line, its gonna be a long year for them.

Defense: Aaron Smithhh, for now Austin needs to hope he can step up and put pressure on the run and the passing game to have a chance of any defensive prowess. Marc Ritter, he must up his play level extremely or Austin will be run on all year. Cedric Griffin will have a rough one this year, expected to shut down his man, cover the outside run and respond to inside runs bounced outside.

D.C. Sonics

Offense: Eric Krapf, he will need to keep his young players calm and he might be able to get some early results. Luis Grau showed he might have the stuff last year, look for them to give him the ball a lot early in the year to see what he is made of.

Defense: A untested front four, never a good sign. World Wize better be ready to run around like crazy every snap tackling anything that moves. Another untested section of the defense is the secondary for the Sonics, we will see if they can step up and keep the passing game contained.

San Francisco Stonecutters

Offense: Dan Parino, he needs to show he has the stuff quick or its gonna be another sad season for the Cutters. War Lordd looks like he could be ready to have a breakout year seemed right on the edge last season of breaking for a few extra big plays.

Defense: sack dumerville is one hidden gem for the Cutters, he should put up good numbers all season. Tort Feasor will need to keep doing what he did last year and control the middle of the field. CarI Carlson will need to stop letting wide outs catch the ball, he must shut people down if he wants results this year.

What's up CCC...errrr.....A #1

Owner of D.C. Spartans here. Been a hectic off-season. I'm sure the addition of teams killed a few rosters. It hurt a little but I think we'll be good to go. Lookin forward to a strong year!

I enjoyed the underdog role last season with our #8 seed run to the conference championship, but I'm kinda hopin to get a few homegames in the off-season this time..lol. Be nice to make money as I'm paying my guys

We need to keep the A#1 thread at the top so everyone knows who is boss. Cerneo is great, I bet you guys wished you had him as an owner. This should be a very competative league this year. It's more fun now that there is a little more history and that all the teams have had time to improve their squads. Oh and now it is a 16 game marathon instead of an 8 game sprint and no one can dodge anybody.
