Well, there is a second reason I'd like you to stay. I've personally regarded the LLLL as our main rivals over the course of the league. We've had the upper hand (other than the first game) until now, when we were obliterated. Every game we've played has been a nailbiter for us. I'd hate to lose that and lose you guys.

Against the Slashers, you can't say we have much of a rivalry. When you are 0-4 or 0-5 against them, that's a no-contest match.

Just a small point, but Lizard Lick now owns a 3-2 record over the Fury so I wouldn't say you've had the upper hand other than the first game. You might be forgetting that we beat you in the first round of the playoffs in season 2. So that's 3-2 with a 2-0 record in the postseason.

Scary offense. Scary defense if their DEs get going as well. It wasn't much of an "upset" for them to knock us off in the prior round.

Seriously though, best of success to you in the next league. I'm sure you'll make the playoffs quite easily. I'm rooting for you guys over the Hedgehogs as well. East pride is at stake, as we've won every championship matchup against the West.

Yeah, I've gotta pull for the Slashers in the title game, too, to keep the trophy in the East where it belongs. The two games today put some serious offense on display, by all four teams. I expect nothing less from the title game, which should be another good one.

Gotta go with Chicago in the championship game. They gots to win it for the West.

I dont think the Slashers are in the same league as Chicago, figuratively speaking ofcoarse. I dont think it will be close, I think Hogs take it by atleast 10 points.

I agree that it won't be close. Slashers will take the cake by at least 10. The East just has the top team, without fail.
