No, I'm fine with Alpha Jr, we're young and healthy, they are aged and past it!

Great respect for Winona though. If anything, the difference came down to 4th down conversions.

True, but what really killed us was the sacks and turnovers. If our O-line had held up better it would have been a very different score. But it didn't. Well played, Winona.

I'm sure not allot of folk thought we'd beat Lost City. I felt comfortable in our chances with the changes we'd made to our offense 3 or 4 games ago.

Among the "haves" Jr. made senior it's bitch today.

I'm looking forward to post season play. Our path to the Conference championship game is paved with teams that beat us in regular season play. It will be interesting to see if we can avenge those losses when it really counts.

Yeah, nice job Rip. That was a great win. (Particularly with the terrible first half you had.)

I second Matej's congrats, Rip. Very nice game. I'm not really looking forward to facing you guys in the playoffs (or the Tsunamis, for that matter, or the Red Bulls. . .or the Bucks. . .shit, can you just crown our asses and not make us play the games? kthxbye).

Great job Zeta, you definitely proved a point. These playoff games should be quite interesting to say the least.

I know the Firestorm was happy to come away with a win.

Yeah, the spreadsheet's retarded with inter-conference. What about Golden Hill? Can they move up with a win and someone losing? They just knocked off Phuket, so they might have a chance...

Btw, NICE game steelers. Had me freaking out the whole game. How does a kicker hit a 49.5 FG, the longest in the league this year, and then miss a 29 yarder though. That's messed up My heart would've felt better if he'd have hit that.

We did our part and won, we finished .500 this season. That is a HUGE improvement over last year. We need Phuket to lose and we would have been the 8th seed, but they won. It was fun year though.

Thanks, jenred, the top of Zeta has really picked it up over last year (probably a result of increased parity as the levels get bunched), though if we're lucky enough to get there, I wouldn't want to face you guys in the league championship.

Thanks, Sockamidic, Dennis Green has always been a personal hero of mine. . .Great win, today, by the way. It was the one true blowout by Zeta against a very good team.

I still say Alpha is better (and could prove it). But just barely. Yeah, Jr. Doesn't really fit anymore dammit. It was growing on me too. Now it's more like AFC/NFC. So good games NFC.

GREAT game Bulls n Gyrui. I was shocked and ticked to see that you guys go for it on 4th so much. Although you're used to walking over ppl, so then why not? I would too. That was the difference I think. We barely won turnovers 2-1, had more time of possession, and gained more yards. Although you gained more yards PER play, and had more first downs. I thought there were a couple bogus plays, but there always are for someone. We stalled TWICE in the red zone which really hurt. And one of those was on 4th and Goal and inches to go.

I know it won't happen (for us) but we would LOVE to take you on again in the championship, or anytime really. PM our loser owner and get him to scrim in the off-season Next time I'll move my uber LOT over to ROT so McNasty won't even get that throw away sack at the end I was tempted to do that anyway, but figured our Oline has been dominant enough w/o any tinkering.

You guys ran the ball better than I thought. You definitely put a game plan in there, and it was pretty damn good too! As the team that played you the closest this year, we demand a rematch! At some point.

Oh, and consider yourself crowned You earned it this year.

.

EDIT - http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=855759 You guys are now on THE LIST.

Great game Thailand. We tried a few new things and while we lost, it showed us some things to help for the postseason. I don't think either of us were too worried about the result, but it was a good win for you guys.

Oh no! I didn't want to be on that list. . .that list is the karmic kiss of death. Congratulations, Bucks. When you beat us, you can thank the damn evil list makers. . .

Snaza,

There were definitely some bogus plays, but I think they evened out in that game (there was also that ridiculous play in our red zone where it was a deflected pass that our WR caught and then promptly turned over by fumbling. . .probably the correct outcome in that it could have been a pick, but crazy to watch).

We had tried a few things out on defense that didn't exactly work out how we would have liked, but I don't think we can use that as an excuse as we tried some other things out that worked out quite well.

Speaking of running the ball, you guys ran the ball against us better (or at least more consistently) than any other team has this season, I think.

Though it's not my FP, I'm sure we'd be happy to rematch you at some point, assuming we don't meet again in the playoffs (though I certainly wouldn't count either of us out).

I'm pretty sure (I'd put money on it) you guys will get through your conference. And even though we have a (small) shot, I don't think we can beat Firestorm at all. Lost maybe.
Yeah, our running game has been strong all year. We'd focus on it, but we like having a balanced attack.
Just give your owner the .25 cents

Guess I'm just happy we were beating you for a bit. Still annoyed at that Non-TD though on the goalline. Wouldn't have won it for us, but still would've been nice.

Yeah, we don't see your owner much. WTF is up with that? Of course ours isn't on much either Weird n Eccentric owners.

Gyuri gets to be more obsessive than I can be, and I've designated him team spokesman/paranoid/expectation-lowerer in the GM set-up.

As you can see, Matej makes appearances now and then, but I, unlike him, can be on GLB during the day, so I'm around more.
