And now the west

Waller/Orlando - the Doggies have had a good season circle the bowl in the past few tilts and the Waller Knights will be the ones who come in and "jiggle the flusher" to finish flushing their season down the shitter.

Lemurs/Florida - this one promises to be an outstanding game. Obviously we have a lot on the line for both teams here. Both teams are coming into this one after virtual bye weeks last game...but I have to give a very slight edge to Florida who have a way of rising up to the challenge in these pivotal games...that said they also have a way of shitting the bed when you think you have them figured out so please, no wagering.

Vegas/Seattle - glad to see Vegas is starting to make me look good when many, many games ago I was telling...warning...the league that once these guys got going they'll do some major damage. They're now making good on that prediction and the only question here is when I talk about Vegas, should I talk of them in plural or singular form? Criminals in a romp.

Austin/Indiana - After losing their last game to a team filled with good looking dudes who nail nothing but the hottest ladies while smoking the finest herb and drinking whatever is in front of them, Austin gets to take their anger out on the red-headed stepchild of the division.

Phoenix/Tampa - The Elves are fighting for their playoff lives and this game is more than welcome on the schedule here as the Elves are too good to stumble in a key game like this.

Sharks/Oakland - The Sharks are still alive, but on life support, to make playoffs. This one will at least prevent them from flat-lining for another game at least.

Tucson/Green Bay - Tucson is one of those teams that is probably very close to turning the corner to being a playoff team next season. A solid win here will help them start to gain that confidence they'll need to make that step next season.

Shriners/Putnam - This is a battle for 2nd place in the West. At least 2nd place for a week. I won't pick my own game again, but I should insert some sort of sports cliche before I wrap this one up....both teams will be out there to fight with their backs to the wall and be ready to leave it all on the field while giving 110%.

Nice prediction...as usual.

Putnam put us away with a solid ground game. Good game fellas. Our missed chip shot proved to be huge.

Was a very good game. That one went right down to the wire. That 9 yard sack on 3rd down prevented the game from going into overtime. If nothing changes as far as the standings go...we could be playing each other in the first round of the playoffs. Very good game lemurs!

Vermont is going to kill their kicker today. The two field goals he missed would have won them the game 36-33.

The 55 yarder was understandable...............the 19 yard one not so much. Not gonna complain though, I think we needed that result

I have to say, it is always a pleasure reading your predictions Griz, great job and keep it up!

And yes, we have an easy game this week well others have harder ones, but that picture is a total reversal next game as we play Waller and many of the others have cruise games. So it evens out in the end.

Waller are chumps. 2nd easiest game on your schedule after this one...

your a chump

Looks like it's down to just Phoenix and LA battling for the final playoff spot in the West - Austin beat both, and will take at least 7th regardless. If Phoenix win, they go to the playoffs; if Sharks win, and Phoenix lose, Sharks go to the playoffs; if Sharks lose, Phoenix go through regardless... and both games look like they're gonna be close - Sharks (8-7) vs. the Manhattan Massacre (10-5), and Phoenix (9-6) vs. Da NOLA Brah!!! (12-3). You'd have to say Phoenix have the harder game, so it could be down to whether the Sharks can grind out another upset.

Of course, Manhattan are guaranteed to be no lower than 8th, while Da NOLA are battling for the Conference Championship, so while Manhattan may ease off and try out new tactics, Da NOLA will almost certainly treat it more seriously...
