As an owner could always field suggestions from the other players, have a vote, and name your team accordingly. There is a chance that the agents could feel a little more involved in the team that way. Or not

Nameing my team from the city I am from and after One of my favorite bands makes sense. It also makes sense that im in the Western conference, had we been in the eastern conference our name woulda made sense to that.

How close is Orange County to Canada? exactly, not very. It is my pet peave as stupid as it may be just like GMathias needs to be a internet grammar teacher. Player take notice of stupid team names and names that don't make sense to the region. Play on playa.

Plus the team I am invovled with in this league is a eastern conference team near the border of Canada close enough to make sense.

someone better tell the Toronto Blue Jays to GTFO of the AMERICAN League (and no it's not implied that America should include all of North America)

My team is in a USA city like Bull said but I consider us the Blue jays to the Canada league. I put thought into my team name. i was deadset on being the Mohicans and they occupied the Albany area of New York until they were forced all the way to Wisconsin where they still reside. I agree some people don't know wtf they are doing when they choose names.

Well if it's any consolation I lived on 7th & Loma in LB and worked on PCH in Seal Beach, right over the Inflight Surf Shop... That may be too LB for ya or not Canada enough. Who cares, whatever the case.

I was joking when I said it, hence the smiley face. Although it is funny that most of the non-Canada team names are from Cali.
