Yeah, but what are you basing these on? Why does Lincoln have an edge over the Misfits? Why does BTB edge out Jetnation?

The fact is our conferences only play 1 game a season against another team picked at random...I don't see how you can draw any conclusions from that.

cause lincoln hasn't really had competition? >>

and btb barely lost against #1 in east

I didn't mean those two in particular, but the point is almost all of the games are within the conference. Lincoln hasn't had any competition IN THE WEST, who knows what would happen in the east? BTB has one loss, which is to the #1...IN THE EAST, who knows what would happen in west?

See what I'm saying? You can't use existing records and what not within each conference because they aren't related at all.

That's like saying some Canada A team is better than Windycity or something because they have a better record against the top teams in their Canada A conference.

I know in reality the east and west aren't that far apart in skill level, but you're doing the same thing. We really have almost nothing to go off of to compare the West's top teams with the East's top teams.

Base in on this then , the west has produced two A2 championship teams. Until that changes the west is on top.

I mean there's no doubt the East is more competitive with more good teams. But as for better, like if all the contenders played each other, who knows?

I'll give the edge to the West untill the East can beat them in the championship game. So far the West is 2-0 when it comes to that.

As I mentioned, I obviously have a biased opinion ;p

You fail to take into consideration that there have indeed been a couple friendly games and therefore a couple conclusions can be drawn.

When comparing across conferences, my thought process brought in the friendly A tourney (in which Lincoln and SanFran are doing/did very well) as well as other friendly games such as when Windsor beat JetNation. Since Windsor > JetNation and Windsor = BTB (one loss, one win but both very tight games that could have gone either way) my conclusions scaled down from there. Lincoln has had a couple close games but until they are beaten they are the #1 seed.

In the East, Hollywood is very fortunate to only have 1 loss. Any of the top teams in the East have an argument that they can win it all.

Now with all of that said, take it with a grain of salt. I believe all of hte aforementioned matchups would be very close games. The playoffs will sort it out in the end =)

Add in the Lincoln loss to Hollywood which wasn't quite as close as the final score (Lincoln very long TD in closing minutes brougth it closer) and a compelling argument can be made that the East has a better top 8 than the West.

I don't really think it matters.

The West is better because they have Championships.

The East is better because they have less gutted teams.

Who's gives a fuck?

Does it really matter? There are SEVERAL very good teams in both Conferences, and the "Best of A" Tournament is pretty much concluding that A2 is the deepest League around. We're ass packing every other League out there.

Again, friendly. The games you should be looking at are ones that matter, and so far, only Week 16 games matter.

I know we didn't play Hollywood like we have been playing other teams this season...a friendly is a chance to try new stuff without a penalty.
