I do not think everyone understands what over/under is and have not spent much time in Vegas.

I agree. I haven't spent any time in Vegas but the over/under is just another type of betting on a game in addition to betting the spread.



Quick overview for the confused...

Bet the spread:
The spread is saying that a team is basically a certain amount of points better.

You then take a team.

Oklahoma -7 over Texas. Means that Oklahoma is 7 points better then Texas. Or favored by 7 points.

So if you bet OU you are saying they will win by MORE then 7 points. If you take UT you are saying that OU will win by 6 points or less OR that Texas will win.

So you can take Texas, yet OU can still win the game AND you win the bet.




Bet the over/under:
Lets say the over/under for the OU v. UT game is 42. THis means that OU and UTs combined score will total 42. You then bet over it or under it. If you bet over it, you think the teams will combine for more then 42 NO MATTER WHO WINS. If you bet the under, you think they will combine to score less then 42.

Whats the odds on the StreetWalker/Witchdoctor game ?
I folow Horses a few times the long shot pays off more.

Oh, by the way, I will take the over on the MMJ / BGC game.

Oh my god I'm thinking of taking the over/under out because alot of you don't know what that is.

The COMBINED score of both teams has to be more than the number I put beside the game. If you bet on the under for the StreetWalkers game then you're saying the COMBINED score of both teams will be under 20.

GG Demons, you ended up with the ball first in the 5th and the NFL ruled OT was in effect. (pure luck IMO, I would have said this if we started with the ball too). You switched it up a bit on us, something you havn't done to anyone else. again, GG.

They don't get any better then OT, when it comes to a game like that. GG Demons. We should get our revenge in the Playoffs.

Could not agree with you more. Great game guys. Who ever got the ball in OT would have came away with the win. (glad it was us). We still have two games left and after last season and this one I can honestly say that it still is not over. I am sure the playoff seeds will change again before it is all said and done.
