I think it went fair last year whoever did it.then maybe a brief period to plead your case why your player that wasnt nominated should be on.

Could do it like this...
Each owner nominate 2 players on each position
Then the top 3 on each position most voted by the owners got to a Forum vote

I liked the idea that each owner picks two players for each position in his conference (and none of those picks can be players on the owners team). Otherwise, it's hard to avoid owners' picking their own players (or else getting grief from the own players for not picking them).

i posted this in the other forum discussing this.

this way seems like a whole lot of work....should just start a thread and have people shout out nominations with the OP keeping track, then after a week or so have the owners vote.
requirements for nominations would be to list the players name and stats so the OP could copy and paste from the post. One thread for each Zeta and Alpha and each day update the list....thats the way i would do it, up to you guys though.

IF we do it I'm suggesting... After the nominees are up, each owner would pick 2 players per position. I.e. 2 QB's, 2 RB's, 4 WR's... and you just tally up the votes. That way you get your 1st AND 2nd team done at once.
If each owner only puts up 2 players, then you'll get maybe 3 to choose from. Why would an owner look at the top 6 or 7 for EVERY position. Some of the top 2 or 3 stat-wise won't deserve the spot. Like a WR who has the 2nd most TD's on a high scoring offense and a TON of drops, over a 4th or 5th WR who has almost as many TD's, a couple drops, and a higher YPC average. Think every owner's going to look at all that? Hell no. Think your average joe who's doing only WR's is going to see that and point it out? Hell yes.

yeah one of the criteria i looked at is how each left Tackle did against Potpie from Lost City. And how the pancakes were spread out.Not like My Tackle has 200 pancakes on the season but 199 of them were against Van Alstyne.Ie: the FB who had 700+ yards one game and only 200 more for the rest of the season.

Good points
Hopefully every looks that carefully.

We held him without a sack in the, um, first scrimmage game (so clearly very meaningful). Of course, that was before the new individual tactics, so. . . well, I just felt like posting something after I went back to look.

Yeah, we held Jeebroni to 2 sacks. AND we've given up the LEAST sacks/hurries in ALPHA. 2nd least in AA4.

The safety didn't count though as a sack....it did count where it matters most... on the score board!
Yeah that score doesn't do your team enough credit. But I did say that my CB that you tried to recruit during the off season would get an INT on Rick....and low and behold he did, plus he grabbed one of the fumbles so really you can blame him for the loss.
I'm excited about the playoffs they'll be full of close fun games.
