Thanks for those words, lets hope we can get to the playoffs.

Looking at your schedule don't see why you can't go 3-0 for your last 3 games.

I think we will, and a result or two needs to go our way from other games.

This week fucking sucked... I don't understand HOW THE HELL THERE WAS A TIE??? The defense was set 80% to stop the pass, but they kicked ass in the passing game? Or ALL 3 drops being key ones where if it is caught, I win the fucking game? Hell, on their drops they ended up scoring anyway?

After game 14:

Remaining matchups for the Future Llamas of America (1st)

at Sandersville WarChickens (6th) W17-23
GERMAN WILDDOGS (2nd) W28-13

at Sunshine Coast Condors (3rd)
at Lexington Armada (16th ZETA)

They should be at least 3-1 and finish with 15-1 or better.
Still on track, but much closer result than expected, eh?

Two INT Return TDs and maybe not a gamplan at 100%. Now they match up against the Condors. They allready won against the Wilddogs. Any chance the FLA stumble?

Remaining matchups for the German Wilddogs (fell from 2nd to 3rd)

Nottingham Hoods (5th) W38-10
at Future Llamas of America (1st) L28-13

Berlin Devine Right (12th)
Guadalcanal Gunners (1st ZETA)

They could loose two of the final four games playing twice the #1. Should finish 12-3-1 or better.
Still on track.

Still on track, but its going to be even tougher to finish at 13-2-1.

Remaining matchups for the Sunshine Coast Condors (4th)

Saipan Storm (7th) L20-24
at Nottingham Hoods (5th) W17-23

Future Llamas of America (1st)
Devonport Devils (4th ZETA)

Condors could fall to 1-3 in the final four matches and finish the regular season with 11-5.
Close game against the Storm. Its going to be even tougher with this loss!

They recovered from the loss against the Storm. Now they face the FLA. Propably the last chance to stop the FLA from going undefeated to the PO.

Remaining matchups for the Sacred Haven Knights (improved from 3rd to 2nd)

at Redcliff Razamanaz (14th) W0-57
South Sydney Rabid Rabbitohs (9th) W33-10

at Solomon Islands Pack (13th)
Brisbane Troyfins (7th ZETA)

Looks like the Knights will finish 4-0 and 13-2-1.
Yep...first step was nothing but a scrimmage for the Knights.

Still as expected.

Remaining matchups for the Nottingham Hoods (5th)

at GERMAN WILDDOGS (2nd) L10-38
Sunshine Coast Condors (3rd) L17-23

at Lincoln Breeze (8th)
at Perth Pirates (8th ZETA)

The Hoods should be able to go 2-2 and 11-5. But I expect better!
They could go even 3-1 after the seeing the Condors falling to the Storm.

The Hoods losing two in a row against top teams. But a rather easy finish, is it?

Remaining matchups for the Sandersville WarChickens (improved from 9th to 7th)

Future Llamas of America (1st) L17-23
at Berlin Devine Right W20-21(12th)
Phoenix Eagles (15th)
Redcliffe Sharks (10th ZETA)

Only one loss ahead for the WarChickens? Very propably isnt it? 3-1 to finish 9-6-1.
Wow...that was a very close one!! But they should be going confident into upcoming matches with this result. Hence they lost a PO seat for this weak.

Back in PO? Another close game with the Devine Right on the losers side.

Remaining matchups for the Saipan Storm (dropped from 6th to 8th)

at Sunshine Coast Condors (3rd) W20-24
Lincoln Breeze (8th) L21-26

at Redcliff Razamanaz (14th)
at Wollongong Shaved Pussycats (13th ZETA)

2-2 or maybe 3-1, but they need the win over the Breeze bad. Finish 8-8 or better.
Very nice win over the Condors...now they could go 4-0 if they win the final three matchups and secure the PO spot.

Now that was kinda unexpected, but thats football. Two wins in the final games should be madatory or PO saying bye bye.

Remaining matchups for the Lincoln Breeze (improved from 7th to 6th)

Jamaican Souljahs (11th) W26-14
at Saipan Storm (7th) W21-26

Nottingham Hoods (5th)
Alice Springs Rock Wallabies (6th ZETA)

Tough schedule to clinch the final PO spot.
Important win for the Souljahs...not to think if theyd lost. They still need to fight to stay on a PO seat.

Breeze one win short of securing PO? Whos doing the math?

Anybody outthere who can tell me how the systems determines #2 and #3 in our case? Does it take into accout the points scored: http://goallineblitz.com/game/team_stats.pl?league_id=92&conference_id=183&stat=other&sort=points_scored&playoffs=0

According to the guide ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=81987 ), tie breakers between two teams are head to head. # or more are record versus tied teams, then points scored, then points allowed.

Edit: Sorry, just noticed you two tied. I would assume that points scored is the next tie breaker, but it is not explicitly stated in the guide.

It goes on points scored, and if thats even, points against.

In our case, SHK outscore us 502-457. Somehow I doubt we'll be able to claw that back over 2 games.

Well played FLA. Seems to be a well organised team, full of very well built, effective players.

And 1 hell of a CB!!

GG, congrats on the title. I'm glad you had to beat us to confirm it.

Thanks for the kind words... that game and the hawthorne game had our GMs in an absolute frenzy... they were in my cube arguing for almost an hour and a half over what to do, and they were IMing all day about it as well. I had to crack the whip on them this week though, because we lost to the Condors last year, and I would rather not see a repeat. We might get a rematch, but I haven't seen a playoff bracket this year where the #1 and 2 team both made it to face off for the conference title.

Congrats FLA on a hard-fought win and, unless something really weird happens with the Armada game, a perfect regular season.

My opinion of the playoff situation now (and bear with the abbrnvs):

#1 FLA locked.
#2 SHK. All they have to do is match GW result. And with GW playing GG its theirs to lose. Beat Brisbane and GG gotta lose by 42more than the margin of victory to lose 2nd seed spot. Unlikely.
#3 GW. Cant fall any lower.
#4 SCC locked.
#5 NH locked.

Then it gets kinda interesting... 5 teams scrambling for 3 spots.

SWC 8-6-1 as I predicted face a tough game against a team who must win to qualify for Zeta playoffs: Redcliffe. I say they'll finish 8-7-1.
LB 8-7 have a tough inter-conference game too. They'll finish 8-8 imo.
SS also 8-7 have what looks like a winnable game in week 16. If they dont win it, they wont deserve to make it. My call is 9-7 & in.
SSRR 7-7-1 will finish 8-7-1 with a victory over the hapless Mantas. They'll probably win by 40.
HH also 7-7-1 should win their last game to finish 8-7-1.

So (for my money - and I was careful not to abbreviate that one!) we'll have:
#6 SS
#s7&8 will be between SWC, SSRR & HR tied at 8-7-1 with no clear tie-breaker. It'll probably go to points scored. Anybody wanna do the math for that one? One will fall away and join LB as an "also-ran" for the year. The other two join the party, but face stiff tests next time out.

Again, no responsibility is accepted for the accuracy or otherwise of the above predictions...

Cheers,

Heff.
