Bingo.

Although I have my reservations about purposely losing. I play to win, no matter what. Sometimes in order to win, you have to lose though.

However, my honest assessment is that we will not be able to win it all in the playoffs. A better team will beat us.

The sensible thing for Bort to do would be to not promote any teams from the new A leagues in this first season. By the end of next season chances are we would have caught up enough to be able to at least compete in the next league up.

It would be sensible, but I think I read somewhere that not promoting the Canada "A" teams was a 1 time deal, and not to expect it to happen again.

Yep... I remember reading about that last season as well.

I would like to take down the all stars..then i thought about it and...NAH!!!

Yeah, but the thing about not being promoted from Canada A, is that it was totally useless. Most teams still will have to find new players as Canada A did, I was on the championship team from A8 last season, and still had to find a new home regardless of no promotion. The reason for this is once this season is over, more than likely the cap will be lifted, and firesales will begin to get the level 25's that want to be on a championship team and get paid well will come to the teams willing to do it.

Basically, you're damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I`m pretty sure that Bort said the cap will continue for our league next season and will simply be increased as it was in midseason

I've seen 2 people post this now...is there a link somewhere to him saying there will be a cap for season 5 in our league?
