Well my little brother was just ten years old.
When we hit bad weather and hid in the hole.
We could see Texas, it was only a mile
And oh little brother I remember your smile

In Indian-ola....

My dad built a saw mill. Of Cyprus and stone.
It was there on Medina, where we made our home
It was year 1850, and I sent for my girl
oh frauline come meet me, in this brand new world

In Indian-ola...

I saw him in concert in Muenster. I was drunker than shit and part of the "crew". My buddy at work is part of the Muenster Jaycees and built the beer trailer that they have there. We set it up that morning and in return had free beer all damn day. Holy shit, you take a guy with Kraut blood and give him free beer from 0800 on. . . . bad things man.... bad things.

Muenster Fest kicks ass. I saw Charlie, Bruce, and JJW there that day.

Unfortunately I was dancing with some chick I thought was hot as hell but apparently was some rodeo skank according to my friends the next day.

Oh well, the power of Shiner.

The "Beer Trailer" by the way is a refrigerated 18 wheeler trailer with about 8 taps on each side and loaded down with kegs inside that they sell beer out of.

Apparently I was the evenings' entertainment because my friend's wife kept bringing me full cups of Shiner even though the one I had was 3/4 full. I guess if you're a 6'2" 230lb Kraut they think you can handle it. . . . .

I enjoy Muenster more than New Braunfels because to me it is much more real and commercialized less.

New Braunfels used to be cool. Now it's ass, especially since they closed River Road Ice House.

My mom and step dad (in the Texas High School Coaches Hall of Honor) live in Llano. Talk about BBQ. . . . Cooper's kicks ass. What I wouldn't give for some cabrito right about now.

Mine was in 6th grade in Castroville.

What can you expect from a Yankee transplant? I got a late start.
