I am going to respectfully disagree with tedtinker. That takes way too much time.
Here is my proposal for creating the team.
1) Each team owner puts together a maximum of 10 players to nominate to the all-alpha team.
2) Each team owner selects at a minimum 3 players for the all-alpha team
3) Each team selects a team offensive and team defensive MVP and an overall MVP from their own team
Each owner creates a post with the title - "AAT - Team Name" or as an example
"AAT - Big Red Machine"
The owner can edit their post from now until season end. (Edit... not create new threads... keep them short and sweet..also, please refrain from commenting on these)
At the end of the season, the league gm (do we have such a thing??) can pool these for the owners to review and vote on... if we dont have enough of a certain position the league gm can let the owners know of missing positions and request additional additions to fill them.
League owners will vote on these players and build the team. Then the league owners will choose an Offensive and Defensive Captain from the team.
This way each manager can have input on the team without having to scout all the other teams. I noticed that some managers don't want to choose players, but suck it up and nominate some. We know some of the teams are "TEAMS" but hey... this is just for fun. If you don't want to select players, we will just leave your team out and note that in the list.
How about this...you handle the all alpha team, and I will do the player's of the year and 12th man. So start a new thread called the all alpha team. I'm not meaning this to come off in a dick sounding way, but if you really want to do it that way then go ahead. It will lighten my work load. As for Player's/management of the year, we have done it the same way every season, and it works fine. So you handle the all alpha team, and I will handle the rest. Once everything is final, we can combine everything onto one thread.
