Yeah I know what happened. But the thing is, how does gaining one or 2 players, boost you up to 36? Especially when on paper, their ratings are 3-6 lower than ours in all but 2 categories. And those 2 categories they're tied with us. How are they equal in overall score? But hey, they played a good game. If I was here to set the tactics, who knows what would have happened

When are you gonna realize that those general ratings really don't mean too much. Its more about tactics, gameplanning, individual matchups, strengths v weaknesses etc...

I know this, I am not saying that's the reason we lost, I am just confused on how adding 1 or 2 players got them up to 36 overall when we have them in every category but 2. Read what I say before you make a comment like that.

All I'm saying is that you're putting too much emphasis on those comparison charts. I read what you said and wasn't slighting you, it was more of a general comment on the inaccuracy of those ratings.

I am beginning to see that because that huge jump in ratings is BS. I just use that to get a general idea on where their strengths and weaknesses are. I plan off of their previous games and where my defense's strengths are. Sorry I got a little testy.

Tomahawk is right. The match-up rating don't mean crap. I don't even look at them. And they didn't just add 1 or 2 players. I have been screening them prior to our game and just 2 of their agents brought over like 7-8 players, or so, when the cap was raised. Mostly lvl 16s then they boosted them. Gdansk is like us and making do with what they had and playing good games. You have been relying on your levels to lean on teams and pound them. Gdansk closed the level gap, evened the playing field and beat you. We brought on players too at the cap raise. With some "David" teams out there playing well against "Goliath" teams and then they even things up level wise, better watch out for them because they played well without them, now imagine what they can do with that extra firepower.

I am looking forward to our game with Gdansk.

Ok how many times do I have to say this, I don't use them to plan my game plan. I just use it to get a general idea as to where their strengths and weaknesses are so I know where to really pay attention to when I look through their roster and previous games. In terms of game planning, they mean nothing to me. I am just confused on how with us beating them in everything but 2 categories, they have the same overall as us. They're tied in the two categories we don't have them in. That is all.

Why in hell are you using them to plan your game day tactics??? Everybody knows that they are only a very rough guide and should not be considered when game day planning. Short bus stop next corner

Actually, the matchup bars are gospel of GLB. IF i could give any advice (and we are a pretty successful team so far).......follow these 2 tips.

1) Always go by the matchup bars.
2) Boost before you play Hague.

If every team did this I think its safe to say we would have 16 teams in Alpha that win 11 or more games.

Why would you waste your boosts to make the game 3 points closer. its not going to help any team
