I'd be curious to see what the Stonecutters can do in BBB. Yes, they'd be seriously out-leveled, but at least from our experience the lower tier teams don't put up a whole lot of a fight. The first season would be rough, but at least in my opinion a group of well-built lvl 16's would do alright in season 2.

No...

Ask the BBB teams that have moved up and made the playoffs here just how easy BBB is.

You would be suprised at how tough some of the teams are in the BBB leagues are. IMO because that is the lowest tier that is where rebuilding teams or gutted teams should be moved to, Enless Bort adds something between D leagues and BBB ball. Entill then we all just have to deal with warped stats and teams in peril. On the other hand it hasnt been all that bad considering all the changes made this season, Gives time and chances to adjust.

It'll depend what league they go to but they'll run into the same problem there unless they recruit. BBB was no picnic. The average player level of the top teams is between 23-25 right now, with many that have recruited higher. A better place for gutted teams would probably be outside the USA brackets IMO.

Indianola Legends vs. Allen Zephyrs
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=762&team2=739
Allen has put up a good fight, but here come the big dogs. While Allen have some teeth, they just dont have einough horses to Bring down Indianola. Allen is good at one thing, running the ball, and that one sided ability wont go over too well in this matchup. Look for a blowout.
Indianola 55-6

North Carolina State vs. Rockford Wrecking Crew
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=764&team2=112
State and Crew are not a good match. State has a powerfull running game, and Crew doesnt have an answer. Look for the score to come abit closer than the previous whoopings the crew took. They have that going for them.
State 44-12

GOTW
Caribbean Sphere vs. Oklahoma City Spartans
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=768&team2=1276
Alright, now we are talking. A real game. Two great once beaten teams(by Dallas) are looking to gain leverage for playoff position. Both teams are pretty well rounded and very dangerous. To win, you must make the other team settle for fg. I think that Sphere has the ability to dictate the pace of this game. They will put together long drives and attempt to keep the score down. OKC on the other hand is looking to score on every play. Whichever team can enforce their style on the other will come out on top. This game is one in which either team can win.
I Think the Spartans can pull off a very close match.
OKC 27-24

Texas Roughnecks vs. Austin Powers
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=776&team2=766
Gut job bingo
Texas 133-0

USA Eagles vs. Austin Longhorns
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1242&team2=770
This was a surprisingly easy game to pick. On defense what Austin does best negates what the Eagles do best and on offense what Austin does best, exploits a weakness. Look for a ton of yards through the air and a solid defensive performance for Austin.
44-9 longhorns.

Oklahoma Thunder vs. San Francisco Stonecutters
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1275&team2=777
sick of gutted games. The demise of USA#1
Thunder 110-0

GOTW2.0
H-Town Hitmen vs. Dallas Horns
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1310&team2=774
Good golly miss Molly. The Horns are having some fun. Are you serious? The Horns face its fourth undefeated squad in a row. The Hitmen get to test their wares against one of the leagues best for the first time this season. We know what the Horns are, a well balanced and talented team that can beat you on both sides of the ball. The hitmen have insane offensive talent. The hitmen rcvrs and backs can take it to the house on any given play. Your DBs are on the verge of getting beat on every pass play. Can Dallas get enough pressure to make the qb throw quickly? Or will the QB have time to exploit his WRs incredible speed? The matchup of Dallas dl vs Htowns OL is what I think will throw the balance of this game. Dallas has good DBs, but no one can hang with those wide outs for any length of time. Stalled drives wont cut it. Each drive must end in points. Upset alert of 9/10
Dallas wins 31-24

Round Rock 12th Man vs. Omaha Mavericks
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1318&team2=765
This is really a pick'm game. Two almost identical squads in talent and results. I am picking Omaha, because I have seen what they can do when they are near your talent lvl. B4 the great talent crisis of season 4 Omaha was one of the teams I hated to plan for. Upset set at 6/10
Omaha 34-28

Game plan is set. Good luck tonight Horns. Our game may not be worthy of it's own thread but I'm sure it'll be a battle nonetheless.

May the best team win.

Go Hitmen!

Sorry, didn't mean to jump the gun but I'm working graveyards so I gotta hit the sack. I'll be getting to work as the sim runs and won't really have a chance to post between now and then.

make us look good Buddy

You dont need me to make y'all to look good, you do a great job of that yourselves.

This game is very pivotal in the conference standings. I will be watching this one with interest.

Wow. Returned from break here. Hmm. Looks like I picked the wrong time to leave. Austin is now in a dogfight for #8. Oh well.

I'll be rooting for Round Rock to beat Omaha considering we just beat Round Rock last week. However, I think Omaha wins by 10. (*Kiss of death pick*) Definetly will be keeping an eye on this one.

We only have 3 real games left out of our last 8. Anywhere between 7-9 and 9-7 is possible (Beating the Horns isn't likely late season unless they're resting their starters, which they are free to do if they wish.)

Yeah, I know, I've missed doing the kiss of death pick.
I should pick only the GOTWs or projected close games and see how many I can get wrong.

We are one of the BBB teams that moved up, we lost one freakin' game in two years.

I honestly wasn't all that impressed with most of the teams, we rolled the vast majority of them. I think an average game for us was something like 42-7 and only a handful of teams even came close. I'm not saying they'd win the title in BBB, but I don't think they'd be among the worst either and might have a shot at the playoffs in year 2 (not that they'd win). There are some BAD builds on those weaker teams, and several of them are gutted as well. If you have a team full of active, knowledgeable players that'll boost at the end of the year to maximize XP you should have a chance from what I saw, the weaker teams don't have teams full of those guys. Counting this season by my estimate they should be in the 20-range in their second season of BBB, that won't be totally awful. Of course if if recall correctly BBB #1 was also one of the weaker leagues...
