Personally, I've always spelled it with a 'z' myself. However, it is worth noting that dictionary.com recognizes it as an alternative spelling.

Actually Storm, what Bolt wrote was pretty demeaning. I will say though that our team doesn't deserve to get ribbed like this. I think you have taken it on a personal level. Just ignore what they say from now on, come on like it means something. They do it now JUST to rile you up.

I'd say the "z" is the alternative spelling, as I believe the Queen's english spells it with an "s"...

It's spelt (or spelled if you're in the US) with a 's' here in the UK, but with a 'z' in the US.

But then again the US spell a lot of things incorrectly...

Realise, not realize
Defence, not defense
Colour, not color
Centre, not center
Cheque, not check

No lions its ok........Ive got three Gm's from one team, who are in need of something. Its obvious that these guys are looking for something to occupy their time. If trading verbal jabs with me somehow makes their droll existence that much better then I will make this small sacrifice.
After all I'm a booster.......a helper at heart really. I view it the same way as when I see a dog that's been hit by a car, sometimes you just gotta pull over and help. Other times you have to put it out of it's misery by hitting it in the head with the shovel you keep in your trunk for no apparent reason.
