should definitely be a fun game to watch. I'm interested to see how Kazan finishes it's schedule, they've got a great team but have some tough teams coming up. Should be interesting to see how the league ends up at the end of regular season. Anybody want to do pro bowl voting after the regular season?

The Kazan/Moscow game is easily one I will be keeping a close eye on. I'd be up for pro bowl voting at the end of season, sure. Just as long as you aren't able to vote for your own players.

And 1337boy, great game earlier today, we're looking forward to seeing the Winter in the playoffs.

That's the way I'd prefer as well. And great game to you as well. Your team is very talented and will go a long way, best of luck the remainder of the regular season.

Kazan vs. Moscow

Game of the week, anybody agree?

yup, should be a good game. I'd say Kazan vs. Moscow +7 would be about fair. Moscow lost a couple really close games against some of the best talent in the league. Kazan is 5-0, but has been pushed by some of the lower ranked teams. Besides a narrow victory over Sarajevo, this will be their first real test this season.

Advantages
Moscow OL vs. Kazan DL
Moscow RBs vs. Kazan LBs
Moscow QB/WR vs. Kazan secondary

Kazan OL vs. Moscow DL- this one's a push, in my opinion
Kazan RBs vs. Moscow LBs
Kazan QB/WR vs. Moscow secondary-another very close matchup, too tough to decide

I think this game will reveal a lot about both teams. I think moscow might have a slight edge, but Kazan is undefeated and will show up hungry for a win. Should be a close one

I predict:
Moscow 38
Kazan 34

I like your prediction....I look forward to this game....I'm ready!!

that's great, by then I'll be back at school and won't be able to spend as much time on GLB. it's all yours. game 13 sounds fine, by then we should have a good idea of which players are legit and which just put up huge numbers against bad competition.

Sounds good. How do we want to go about nominating players?

owners have the ballot, can't vote for their own players. Top 1 or 2 at each position get listed. Question is, do we want to do the whole league or do two separate for each conference?

One for each conference, definately. Just like any sport, Football, Basketball, Baseball. Do GM's get the ballot too? Heh

The hard part is finding out the top 1 or 2 at some of the less definable postions. QB, WR, HB are easy enough, but how about FS or OL. For FS, is it picks? tackles? PD's? FF's? Olinemen, by running back success? Pancakes?

Split by conference is fine with me. I figure we'll have a MVP vote for overall, and then all-alpha and all-zeta teams.

Do yall want to have a nominations thread, or do you want to do nominations by PM? I don't care if you nominate your own players, but when the final vote comes teams will not be allowed to vote for their own players.

I think the most fair is to allow 1 vote per team. That way the number of GMs and such doesn't skew the voting. Each team can determine however they want to as to which player gets their vote.

Week 15 I'll post the final ballot, and teams will have until the playoffs start to submit their vote. I'll post them as soon as I can get them tallied after that.

Sound good?

that sounds great, good to see our forum is starting to be a little more active. I'd say a thread for nominations is probably easier than PM, but a PM might be better received as a lot of teams dont check on here as much. You seem to know what you're doing, so I think we're best if we just leave it up to you.

nefari, some positions are just tough to quantify, so a lot of them will be judgment calls.

So, one vote per team as in one overall team per conference?
