Rick Blaine usually reserves his beatings for 'bitches'. Both on AND off the field. But Rick Blaine will make an exception in this case, because Rick Blaine's new 'boss' has it coming.
Rick Blaine let it go when our team decided to go for EVERY 4th down because it was a pre-season game. Rick Blaine decided to let it go when we only scored 10 points against an average team. Rick Blaine let it go when we lost to last years regular season champ. And Rick Blaine let it go when we had to come back against another slightly above average team.
Rick Blaine is tired of his OC's relying on the running game. Our running game which has fumbled the ball almost too many times to count in only 3 games.
How many picks has Rick Blaine thrown? Oh, right. 1. And that should've been caught by our OC's BLIND WR Al.
How many points have we scored compared to the other 'top tier' teams? A very, very sad amount.
And Rick Blaine has more important things to worry about than what the actual 'date' is. 22nd, 23rd, Rick Blaine don't give a fuck! Rick Blaine knows it'll be Friday he's at your house puttin the smack down.
And the next time you're gonna make shit up about Rick Blaine, atleast make it believable. After Rick Blaine had a QB Rating in the Top 5 of the League last year, Rick Blaine doesn't think you should be ripping on Rick Blaine's throwing style. Or calling it something it's not. Just call it 'Tom Brady-like', because that's all it is. Perfection.

Rick Blaine hasn't been pissed off about his stats not being the best, b/c Rick Blaine is more concerned with winning. But Rick Blaine's patience is being tested right now.

On behalf of the Warriors, I also congratulate you on a good game. We had our ground game working and moved the ball really well. I think we punted it once and turned it over twice.

That'd be accurate bighook. You guys won the turnover battle, and actually both our teams couldn't tackle for shit. I'm watching your running backs walk through guys and screaming at them "Tackle that mother fucker!". So yeah, that was interesting.

EDIT - I just noticed how close the Idols/Steelers game was. HOLY SHIT.
Idols got up early... again! But the Steelers came back and almost won.
Check this one out people. HUGE defensive battle.
The Steelers tied it up just into the 4th quarter. And they even had the ball on the Idols 32 yrd line, 4th down, 5 minutes left. Tied game, .5 yards to go. And they passed the ball....... I gotta say, if they'd have ran it, or tried for a FG they might've won. I'm thinking the Idols days on top MAY be numbered. They can't keep winning these nail bitters w/o a lose or 2. Nice game guys, nice try Steelers.
Great, now another definite top 4-5 team. If Mekong can make the Firestorm game within 14 they get the other top 5 spot for sure.

We've got the Steelers in 2 games, after a tuneup game against the Black Demons.
Their D is OUTSTANDING. I am wondering how I can get our offense going, after seeing what happened in our game against Winona.

I am just thankful that all of our tough games are not back-to-back.

Yeah, that's what happened to us last year, and kind of this year. We're happy to get outta the first 4 games with only 1 loss. Last year we got outta the first 4 games w/ only 1 win

EDIT - Just checked, it was the first 5 games and we only got 1 win :-p

We have a pretty tough schedule to start. 5 of our first 6 games are against teams that all have a real shot at making the playoffs. After that though we only have Mekong and Winona to worry about.

I think you tricked us with all those fumbles early so we tried to create some fumbles instead of just tackling. It was a savvy move on your part to really kind of suck the first three games and play the rope a dope.

I think you have beaten us twice by a TD so we need to start closing that gap.

Yeah, last year we won by 6. This year 8. So we're actually lengthening the gap

I think any of the top 4-5 can win. It seems with the engine this year, things are a little more open (which is a good thing). This was a crazy game from an Idols standpoint. Oklahoma played a great game, but we had some rough luck (outgained them by 100 yards). Twice we drove down to the half yardline (only to settle for a FG) and had a promising drive ended by halftime. For the game, we were 10/16 on 3rd downs, missing 3 by a half yard and 3 others to dropped passes. Throw in a crazy fumble because the AI decided to run our FB (despite it set to 0%) and this game was a head-scratcher.

Still, a ton of credit goes to Oklahoma for making us sweat until the end. As I said after the Winona game, the top 7-8 teams in Alpha are really strong and I can't see anyone running the table this year.
