look at a good CB's stats and see how they compare.

and i see what the other CB and the left backer and the right back did as well... looks like they were going after a man. seems to me the FS went right for the WR before the ball was even thrown... double coverage maybe? and there was still a TD? whoa...
bottom line is, you cant prove it was strict zone. at the same time, i cant prove it wasn't... bottom line is, you got scored on by a WR that was directly in front of you... in fact, i think he was in your zone. your zone, your responsibility. you got scored on, 'son'.

Actully I'm not a big fan of the dude but I really think he's right... That looks like zone... The LB and both Safeties play zone... It's not a long enough play to see the CBs play zone but if the LB and Safeties play it they were probably zoned to cover the outside TD...

He honestly looks correct... His CB starts to go into a zone and then breaks for the receiver at the last second probably because he saw the QB throw... Not because the WR was there...

That's not a long enough play to say he got burned... There's not enough room for the WR to burn him

That would probably be the FS's fault then... It's like the Immasculate Catch for the Steelers or whatever where the Steeler caught the ball that was deflected off the defenders hand... He didn't neccesarily burn the defender he just happened to be in the right place at the right time

its the CB's job to keep the WR from catching the ball...even if it was zone, when that WR cross's through it and there is no one else on that side of the field the CB sticks with the WR

its still a burn

Not totally... It was an inside cross... The CB never stood a chance even with 100 speed/vision/agility... Well maybe then he would... But at a reasonable build he wouldn't stand a chance based on the defensive play calling... The CB played towards the outside... The WR ran through the FS's zone as the FS jumped on the CB towards the start of the play...

Listen(not towards you) I'm the DC so i know the coverage dip shit....we played tons of zone that season vs this season....the FS tried to break on the ball but missed n was out of position in his zone
