Rish 'Money' Diesel put a lot more dollars in the MVP bank today, with another 3 touchdowns and 100+ yards. Diesels play has been so outstanding this season that this performance was met with little fanfare, as outstanding performances have become so commonplace as to be expected.

Right Tackle for the Fog Devils, Chunkor Benski was heard to say "Yeah you know, we was playing the passing game more today, but when we started dropping passes, Rish just goes hey its cool, and goes out and does his business. He's a leader on this team, and he really makes you just want to go out and pancake the #$^* outta anyone who might get in his way, cos you knows he's gonna capitalise. Rish Diesel is the standard for excellence in this league".

If Rish Diesel is putting dollars in the MVP bank, then Smooth Juice is dropping gold bricks into Fort Knox.

With 152 Yards rushing and 3 more TD's, to make 13 on the season, Smooth Juice is doing something incredible. He's exceeding the performance of many backs in the league, all while splitting time evenly (acutally Forty has a few more carries) with E Forty, who's 205 yard, 4 TD performance was nothing to sneeze at either. The duo has helped the Heads to rank 3rd in total rushing, 3rd in rush average, and 1st in rushing TD's with 22 in just 4 games. Smooth Juice is the only back with significant carries who can say he scores a TD once every six times he touches the ball.

Nice writeup Rooster! Anyone got an MVP nomination thats not a HB?

I think the way things are going, with the emergence of the power back and such, a HB is probably going to be it.

Others just don't stack up, yet.

Best QB;
Tom Brady. 214 YPG, 8 YPA, 8 TD, 1 INT.

Best WR;
Hell, nobody really stands out yet. Maybe Anthony Lynch at 101 YPG, but only 1 TD

Best OL;
Jack Price, Dominating with 112 Pancakes.

Best DL;
Big Baby, 9 sacks, 8 hurries, 1 FF; this guy so far is worth consideration.

LB, DB...Nobody stands out.

OK, Rish has had another stellar game with 145 yds and 3 TDs - he continues to be the standard for excellence.

However, this week, I would also like to nominate a new contender, for the Quebec Eagles, since they did defeat us after all.

Dave Barnett, 176 yds and 4 TDs - unstoppable this game!

Are you guys blind? Chris Fratz leads the league in rushing. Chris Fratz leads the league in TD's. Enough said.

Only one of those statements is true.

Ooops I meant conference. The whole "league" thing was more of a prophetic statement.

This is what I'm talking about! Now we're getting some candidates coming forward and can get some debate going.

For me, part if it always the definition people use for MVP.

I guess I'm coming from the literal version with Rish, I don't think any doubt he's a big part of why the Fog Devils have been surprisingly competitive this year.
