Yep. I won 3 of my 4 leagues last year and came in 2nd in the other. I'll gladly play in a money league with you if you'd like.

Westbrook (partial homer) - Westbrook gets better every year. McNabb is healthy, which means the game could really open for westbrook.

A. Peterson - Only if they get farve in a trade, tavaris jackson blows balls, teams have a lot more game tape, and will load the box and the chances are AP will go into a sophmore slump. But he is too beastly not to be a top 5, with the possibility of farve on the team AP could be scary as hell.

LT - one man wrecking crew. I think Rivers is over rated, but with chambers, and hopefully a healthy Gates LT should be a top no question.

Vernon Davis - a Hybrid TE/WR in a Mike Martz Offense, the boy is going to get some stats.

Ricky Williams - just a gut feeling

Ricky? Ricky "Hippy Lettuce" Williams? kind of a stretch considering Ronnie Brown is in the mix and knowing Parcell he won't be shy about using both of them which means half the carries which will definately keep him out of top 5....

however if your right, you'll look pretty FREAKING smart.....

Ricky has always looked good even in the game he got hurt in last season on that crappy field. The guy is just too talanted, no matter how much reefer he smokes.

LaDainian Tomlinson
Consistent year-in and year-out. Absolute monster.

Brian Westbrook
Underrated by many. Beast in PPR leagues. Philly has no other threats.

Adrian Peterson
Vikes are now a contender. Look for AP to have a big year.

Steven Jackson
Injuries destroyed the Rams last year. Don't count on that to happen again.

Joseph Addai
Top-tier back in a high-powered offense.

Agree with the players in the top 5, just not in that order...I'd put them like this:

1. LT - Most consistent RB we've ever seen at such a high level...nearly a guarantee for 2000+ total yards and 15+ TDs every year.

2. Adrian Peterson - Only problem he'll face is if he can stay healthy or not...if he can he could very well be #1 this year.

3. Steven Jackson - Al Saunders coming back to town with a focus back towards running the offense around and through Jackson. He's a great dual threat but a better runner on the ground than Westbrook is.

4. Brian Westbrook - The ever present "injury concerns" keep him down here for me...just hard to trust a guy that is "questionable" for EVERY GAME.

5. Joseph Addai - Starting RB on one of the most RB friendly teams (despite their reputation otherwise)...he'll always have openings with teams concentrating on Peyton Manning throwing the ball back there.

I don't... Steven Jackson is in the same boat as Westbrook, but McNabb is a better QB then Bulger, I honestly don't see him being dominant.

I really hope AP proves me wrong, but with more game tape on this guy, I really doubt he will be as productive unless the QB steps up. Look at Ronnie Brown/Caddy Williams; great rookie seasons then just couldn't hack it after teams stacked the box.

Thats true but AP is such a beast compared to Brown and Williams. Ap is also playing behind one of the best O-lines in the NFL.... We shall see I guess.

PR's?

Steven Jackson is most definitely dominant and is arguably as talented as Peterson (in a different way). He's also better than AD out of the backfield. He's also going to get at least 100 more carries than AD if he's healthy. The Rams OLine will be much improved from last year, and Jax will be healthy. The addition of Al Saunders is huge. Peterson's injury concerns are far greater than Jackson. Jackson has proven he can be a horse and carry a full 300 carry workload. Peterson has not, nowhere even close.

If I'm sitting #2 I have a serious debate between Jackson and Peterson. Laugh all you want, I know traditional wisdom is 1. LT 2. Peterson, but I'm probably going with Jackson if I get the 2 pick in any league.

1) Adrian Peterson
2) L.T
3) Josseph Addai
4) Marshawn Lynch
5) Im going to go for the home run with this pick, Ryan Grant ( was arguably the best second half RB in the league once GB finally started him )

I dont believe in taking QB's in the top 5 as theres plenty of good QB's in the league you can get later on but RB's in every league I have ever played in have decided who won it all. Also Jackson makes me nervous this year he hasnt even showed up to training camp yet cuz hes holding out till they redo his contract if im not mistaken.

AP over LT? Wow! LT has been dominant year in and year out. I'll give it to you that it's somewhat close. Who knows if AP will have another season like last though

Who knows if LT will ever be the same with his pouting on the sidelines in their playoff loss last season. I think this is the year that the torch is passed. I love LT and he has tons of gas left in the tank, but I question his heart and motivation after that stunt.

Antonio Gates is going to be starting off the season already injured after coming off that foot surgery or whatever which could end up nagging him all season. Phillip Rivers is garbage in my opinion and Lorenzo Neal was released who in my opinion was a lot of the reason LT was able to be so dominate with him blocking the way. Aside from Gates they dont have much of a passing game ( Chris Chambers has proved nothing to me yet). Although I think LT will have a good season I wouldn't expect him to be better then AP but then again you never know.

7 straight seasons with 300+ carries has to wear your body down. Coming off an MCL sprain, Gates with a gimpy toe, Philip Rivers at QB...it adds up to it at least being *acceptable* to not take LT with the first pick, even if I would take him there.

1. Tomlinson
2. Peterson
3. Would have been Jackson if he wasn't holding out like an f-tard. So Westbrook.
4. Addai
5. Marion Barber (or Jackson if he gets into camp before the season starts)

Why? The only time QBs go that high is the year AFTER they have a statistically monstrous season, and they *NEVER* duplicate it. Last season, it would have paid off to draft Brady 1st (at least in my league), but no one anticipated he would throw 800 TDs. But this year?

Let's say I'm drafting 3rd in a 12-team league. I can take Brady or Westbrook. The decision comes down to how many RBs and QBs I think will go off the board in the next 19 picks. Probably 2 or 3 QBs, and 11 to 12 RBs, with the top WRs sprinkling in there as well. So you're looking at Westbrook and QB4 or Brady and RB14. In the average season, QB1/RB14 scores about 32 ppg (in my league's scoring system). RB3/QB4 also scores about 32 ppg. In my experience, it's much easier to predict who the RB3 and QB4 are than who the QB1 and RB14 are. At least within a reasonable range.

And those are only the same because Brady's ridiculous season is factored into QB1 (he scored 585 points in my league last year).
