Moats is the odd man out. He will probably get cut/traded. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in Denver. Hunt may come down with that mysterious injury bug after the 3rd or 4th preseason game and go on IR to protect him till next year. Your running backs this year will be:

Westbrook
Booker
Buckhalter

In that order.

Your gonna see a lot of Booker and a lot of Kolb to Jackson in our first preseason game. Oh, LJ looks healthy again. He was getting real physical in 1 on 1 ones lol

That's who I really missed last season with all of our redzone troubles. I like Celek a lot though. I think this may be LJ's last season unless he does very very well. Celek showed he can get it done. We'll probably see a lot of him in the preseason also. Kolb is another guy I want to take a strong look at. He looked pretty good when he got in last preseason.

The one thing Kolb has going for him is, he can throw the fade. Not sure if McNabb can't or doesn't trust it but he barely ever throws a fade pattern when its there to be thrown.

I think it's a lack of confidence in his WRs. If he had a true #1 I think he'd be more willing to just lay it up there. A lot of people don't realize how important the fade pattern is. It won the Superbowl for the Giants.

This thread would be better if it was about the superior bird team.

That can't get back to the big game. How's Alexander...

I saw Kolb play a few times in college, and I said prior to the draft that he'd be the best QB in the class of 2007. I was surprised that we took him in the early second, but I think he'll be perfect for our offense. He's money on the short and intermediate routes, has a quick release and good footwork, can move in the pocket, and is a natural leader.

I'm excited to see what Booker and Celek can do this season. Both could have great futures in our offense. Haven't seen a ton of tape on Booker, but I saw his big run where he broke 10 or so tackles and scored a TD. He has a bright future. And word is that Celek is tearing it up in camp as well.

I think the young LBs are more than capable, especially Gaither, but for the poster(s) that have been to camp, I have two questions: 1) How much 3-4 are we really running? and 2) How is Akeem Jordan playing? Haven't heard much about him, and he played well at the end of last season.

We've been closer to the big game than the Eagles since 2005, and Alexander isn't on our team anymore, so I don't care how he's doing.

Edited to say that we will be saying "How's McNabb" this year. I guarantee that. Players get old, and players drop off, even elite ones.

Speaking of old tell Hasselback the Cul-de-sac is out, and bald is the new ponytail. Also I think all of your fans should chip in the get Engram a walker. One man's trash is another man's treasure I guess. Let's see if Julius Jones cracks the 1,000 yard mark. After bashing your team I have a compliment for you.

Slappy's a BEAST!! Can you repeat the record shattering performance of our first season?

He wasn't at 100% health last season until the final three games, in which he was excellent. And word is that he looks great in camp; he's putting great zip on the ball and is showing a lot of mobility as well.

That's most certainly not true.

Akeem looked pretty good. He will make the 53 man roster. The reason there hasn't been a ton of talk about him is probably because of Mays. Mays has been lighting people up in camp. Gaither's has nicknamed him "The Headbuster" LOL

Haven't seen them practice a lot of the 3-4. When JJ runs that D, its not a true 3-4 anyways. Its more of a 3-3-5 that we ran against the Pats last year.

I figured it would be more of a 3-3-5 since we don't really have the LBs for the 3-4. Hopefully Gocong gets more reps in that "Joker" role. It's perfect for him.

I wonder who the sixth LB will be, if the first five are Gaither, Gocong, Bradley, Jordan, and Mays... How's Boiman doing? And I know Bryan Smith is more of a pass rushing DE/LB hybrid, but I know he's been hurt so I wonder if he gets stashed on IR a la Gocong in 2006?

And of course there's Studebaker, the product of our "YouTube Scouting Department"

Some other semi-intriguing battles are those at FB and #3 TE... apparently Davis is beating out Luke Lawton for the FB job... and Wilson and Schobel are both playing like shit, but I hope Wilson makes it because 1) he's a better blocker and 2) he went to Pitt...
