No the dance has nothing to do with being self-centered. The confidence of a QB is one of the most importabnt things to have on ANY football team. If your football team doesnt care if he does ba then you need a new one. The problem with Favre is that he is not sure he has the passion to play. Without passion there is nothing about football that is cool. Passion makes football fun and Brett knows that if he doesnt have the passion for it he isnt sure he will stay with it. That is what the dance is about. Its about the passion of the game nt about money or anything self-centered. He wants the team to do their best and he knows that with him they have the largest chance of that happenning.

Quiting and then coming back one time you can blame on passion and not knowing, but if you do it every year you just want the attention. He's already retired and then come back when the season started and the excitement got going, so he should of learned. So either he is the dumbest man alive or self-centered.

No its not easy to hold onto a passion for 17 years. Its not as easy as you would think anyway.

Kensham's responses almost always offer counter points to arguments that were never made by anyone. I'm so confused.

My point was this and it was a response to Jsin:

Favre is not sure if he has his passion of the game anymore. He loves football but he didnt know if he still had the passion for it when he retired. When he decided he wanted to come back his passion must have came back. The reason he retired was because he didnt know if he could give it his all. You see he was always dedicated to the Packers but he wasnt sure he could do it for another season so he retired. Now that he has his passion back and he knows that he can give it his all he wants to come back. Its not because hes a drama queen its because he wants what s best for the team and I think everyone would agree with me when I say that he would be the best QB for the Packers this season.

You are really drinking the juice. That might have been an acceptable excuse the first time, but no longer. The team drafted two quarterbacks in this year's draft and were moving on. He was then talking with the Vikings, how was that what's best for the team?

He's a drama queen, he wants the attention, get over it.

Yes, the Packers MIGHT be more successful this year with Farve at QB, but as we saw last year, he isn't going to get it done in the playoffs and they will be far worse off next year when he retires. If I was the GM, I would bid Farve farewell and work out a trade for him. They have a good young core and need to find out if Rodgers is the guy.

"Ten nights ago, I sat in Brett Favre's Mississippi home, and a couple of times during our discussions he said he wanted Packers general manager Ted Thompson to release him."

What's best for the team my ass...

I would be sick!

Then again we would get our chance at a little payback against Mr.Favre.

All this talk about Farve makes me sick. There are so many other more interesting subjects in the NFL, like The Bills!
