Season 4 = Phail.

I'm not one to blame other people for our losses, but there was some wacky shit going on during our last couple of games.

Why the hell did we punt there? Our AI definitely doesn't say so...

Then, Bort releases the Offensive AI tester and guess what. I enter in that EXACT scenario and it says the sim will kick a FG 100% of the team.

Well, obviously not because we didn't kick one during the actual game.

I'm pretty sure there are some bugs in there that Bort hasn't caught yet

Damn, that was a pretty whack place to punt I must say. Good to know we aren't the only ones having trouble. We should all get a bunch of free flexys or something for this atrocity to our great american waste-time, I mean pastime.

like i said before, until we are ALL on the same level, i am not taking any of the games too seriously.

once everyone has the AI figured out and there are no more BUGGY issues, it's safer for all of us just to learn from eachother and have a good time...no smack talk until we are all back on track...then we burn this forum down.

i know im not an owner but as a player if someone tells me that this season is worthless because people rushed to use the new AI when they had to know there was a high chance of bugs, ill be offended.

How isnt everyone in the same boat? we all play under the same conditions, its just the ones that win will generally be the ones that have adapted better to the circumstances. Sure there will be some where a FG would win it but it goes for it or punts. But thats the risk/reward from using the new AI

I think this season will be a learning season. I always love to win, and will have fun testing out the new DLINE settings, but I cannot see myself provoking anyone about it on the forums cause we won. We are playing a beta game and working out a new segment of it, its gonna be awkward at first.

I think the first 1/2 will be odd, but the second 1/2 will be better.




You mean the game might take more skill than just recruiting a bunch of your friends and leveling up players every season?

Anywho, I don't see many problems with the AI that aren't instigated by incorrect inputs, myself. Most of the cases in the Bugs forum about AI issues end in 'Oops, didn't set a score/wrong yardage/wrong time, how embarrassing'

Are you guys gameplanning for every possible situation or what? I really don't have too many inputs for the teams I do the offense or defense for, as I believe it was only intended to override the important situations. I've found that its been pretty successful letting the basic AI take over for most of the game based on your general percentages, and just tweaking 3rd and 1s or 4th downs when you're losing in the fourth quarter and things.

There's a difference between 100 sacks and absolutely broken pass rushing. 1 hurry against a level 18 OT? I mean come on.

I noticed too that my wrs on my team are not getting a lot of passes like one a game

Yeah, I think the pass rushing has been drastically changed from what I can see. Just another gay blip we we have to take into account. Great players turn mediocre overnight. So weak...

It's not Bort's fault if you don't fully understand the way the tactics work. Season 4 will separate the men from the skirts.
