Well, this is what the rankings are supposed to do, garner discussion amongst the teams! This was preseason rankings, remember. Not much to go on and this is my opinion, and I of course welcome hearing everyone's opinion of why they shouldn't be ranked where they are, but it won't sway my rankings any. I have post game 1 rankings going up right now!

Great job man. I knew this would stir all the owners up a little. Making for a good season!

No offense, but just because you beat the devil dogs, that doesn't give you the best O in the conference brotha. Just a bit to early to be claiming that throne. I mean, I favored back ups in our game in the 2nd half, and we still put up 35 and held them to 3....what does that makes us? I'll tell you, it makes us nothing more than a 1-0 team. Just like you.

Again great rankings man, it was the shot in the arm this board needed.

Well, long time since we first faced the league power rankings. Some obvious teams outperformed their expectations: Pirates, Swift Sharks, Wheatfield); and some obvious teams that underperformed their expectations: (Devil Dogs, Cheetahs, Galaxy). Of these under/over Performers - Devil Dogs was the biggest surprise. Not a game went by where I didn't expect them to turn their game around. Even when it came time for the Pirates to face them - I fully expected to lose. They had a team level average approximately 30% greater than that of the Pirates.

How did the teams match up to what everyone else thought at the beginning of the season? I didn't look at Zeta, because honest I didn't look at zeta at all during the first half of the season.. and barely at all in the second half.

Berlin didn't surprise me really. Dallas surprised me being 8th because I said before we played them that team was way better than that 8th indicated. They beat us and nearly beat sofia in the playoffs. I'd say Dallas was the biggest underachiever with saratov being the overachiever if they win--if they lose it's a tie with us imo.

Regardless next season's a whole new season and I expect nothing less than tough games from a ton of teams in the league--we aren't sneaking up on people anymore.
