ATHGS: TheDog, thank you for taking the time for this interview
TheDog8: My pleasure. When you have no hope of competing, it's easy to find time for things like this.

ATHGS: This is a tough league and you are starting from scratch. Can you avoid being relegated?
TheDog8: No chance. We're just hoping the fans don't burn down the stadium.

ATHGS: What has been the hardest part about taking over this team?
TheDog8: Well, it's probably been finding enough scrubs to come endure the beatings we're in for. When your sales pitch starts off with, "Boy, are we gonna suck," it's not easy finding many takers.

ATHGS: What are you expecting from your team this season and what would be considered a successful season to you?
TheDog8: I'm expecting pain and humiliation. We're a halfway house for slow builders this season, so if we can just get into field goal range once, I'll consider this season a success.

ATHGS: TheDog, thank you for your time. Is there anything else that you would like to say before we conclude?
TheDog8: It was my pleasure. Time is all I have. I do want to say that I don't want my fellow owners to think I'm intentionally making a mockery of this league or this game. A solid plan is in place. With what I was left with when I took over, this seemed to be the only prudent course of action. Yeah, we're gonna take some savage beatings this season. But I assure you, it's only a one-year proposition. We'll be a force to be reckoned with sooner rather than later.

HAHAHA! It's good to see that you're able to take things lightly.

ATHGS: otmalize, thank you for taking the time for this interview.
otmalize: No problemo.

ATHGS: You were a playoff team last year. Do you think you will get back there?
otmalize: I'd hope we could manage to be in the top 8 teams in the conference considering two of the teams were gutted.

ATHGS: Even with the playoff appearance from last season, you are being picked as a 5-7 seed in the playoffs this season. Do you feel disrespected by that?
otmalize: Not at all...we've all seen one thing proven in the past 3 seasons of play: your postion does not determine how far you go in the playoffs - just get to them.

ATHGS: You started off with a brutal schedule last year, and you are not getting a better one this year. Is is hard to have to deal with that at the beginning and then trying to catch up if you lose those games? Is there a sense of panic?
otmalize: Well not till you mentioned it, lol. Having the "front loaded" schedule is much more dangerous than the other way around...without having a go at the "puff" teams your players don't get the padded stats and the opponents increase in quality and may learn some things from facing other teams before they get to you...so not only do you get to deal with the "real" teams up front - you also get to deal with the teams that they've schooled while going down the "easy side" of the schedule. Anyway, there are a lot of changes in the game this season so we'll just have to see how it all works out (as usual)

ATHGS: Thank you for the interview. Is there anything else you would like to add?
otmalize: Nope.

ATHGS: TexasHSFootball, thank you for taking the time to conduct this interview.
TexasHSFootball: No Problem.

ATHGS: Last season was not a great one for you guys, but you managed to avoid being relegated. How do you feel about this season?
TexasHSFootball: We switched leagues last season going into USA A#1, and little did we know there was a rough welcome mat standing in the door way. We did start the season of with a win but then got plastered with five straight undefeated teams, when virtually killed our morale. This season I think we will be much more competitive. I have worked my tail off to improve the roster and the culture of my team and I do think it is headed in the right direction. I don't see us being the push over that we were last season, but again, we draw a brutal opener with the Roughnecks, so things wont be easy.

ATHGS: Will you be able to compete for the playoffs this year, or is it going to be a battle to avoid relegation?
TexasHSFootball: I think the playoffs are a realistic goal for us this season. I do think we will be right in the thick of the playoff race, but like last season, I do not feel it will be an easy battle up that ladder.

ATHGS: What are you going to consider being a successful season?
TexasHSFootball: Well, a successful season in my eyes is something that goes back to the basics. I want our players to feel like a champion. We are not perfect and I don't expect us to be perfect. I do expect to see significant improvement on the scoreboard and on the left hand side of the win-loss chart and us being right in the middle of the playoff picture this season. After last season, it is not hard to figure out what we would consider a successful season.

ATHGS: What can teams expect when they play against your team?
TexasHSFootball: They can expect an improved Tornado squad and one that is very hungry to win.

ATHGS: Sticky Wang Jr., thank you for taking time out of your day to meet with me
Sticky Jr.: No problem. Anything for my fans.

ATHGS: Everyone wants to know if the DNA tests have come back to determine if you are Sticky's son and are you taking steriods? It looks like you started when you were a baby.
Sticky Jr.: I am still waiting on the DNA tests but I am sure I am his son. I remember when I was a young boy and me and Dad used to to take turns tackling tress in the forest. Good times. Me and Mr.Wang were born with 7 extra chromosomes making us biological freaks of nature.... in a good way. As for the steroids, I'm not sure where you got that from. I am all pure muscle with 0.001% body fat. I was naturally born strong. I remember pulling myself out of Mrs. Wang and snapping the umbilical cord on my knee. Saved the doctors some time. Some of my muscles may be tumors but I'm not sure yet.

ATHGS: Now on to the season. This is your first season in this league. Can you be a dominate force in this league?
Sticky Jr.: I have decided to hold my powers in for the first season or two and take it slow. I don't wanna be killin these scrubs out there! I expect around 30-40 sacks, most of them comin from play against Sphere.

ATHGS: How good is your team going to be this year and what would you consider to be a successful season?
Sticky Jr.: We have a team full of rookies. We're all takin it easy on these A#1 scrubs. We don't wanna hurt anyone out there. With that said, I can see us makin it to the playoffs with the 2nd or 3rd seed. Don't look at our scouting reports, those bars don't mean a thing! Even if they are below 20, they're just misleading.

ATHGS: Is there anything else you would like to say since this might be your only interview with this league before you end up being relegated down?
Sticky Jr: I'd like to say good luck to my Dad Mr.Wang. Keep on sackin these fools and feel free to send me your build so you can help your son develop.

I'm amused.

I love this league.
It pains my soul to see gutted teams, but it's good that we have quality owners coming in.

These really is quality stuff. You really should do these for the East as well. Being new to the league it would definitely help me get to know our competition better than just their scouting reports.
