ATHGS: TheDog, thank you for taking the time for this interview
TheDog8: My pleasure. When you have no hope of competing, it's easy to find time for things like this.
ATHGS: This is a tough league and you are starting from scratch. Can you avoid being relegated?
TheDog8: No chance. We're just hoping the fans don't burn down the stadium.
ATHGS: What has been the hardest part about taking over this team?
TheDog8: Well, it's probably been finding enough scrubs to come endure the beatings we're in for. When your sales pitch starts off with, "Boy, are we gonna suck," it's not easy finding many takers.
ATHGS: What are you expecting from your team this season and what would be considered a successful season to you?
TheDog8: I'm expecting pain and humiliation. We're a halfway house for slow builders this season, so if we can just get into field goal range once, I'll consider this season a success.
ATHGS: TheDog, thank you for your time. Is there anything else that you would like to say before we conclude?
TheDog8: It was my pleasure. Time is all I have. I do want to say that I don't want my fellow owners to think I'm intentionally making a mockery of this league or this game. A solid plan is in place. With what I was left with when I took over, this seemed to be the only prudent course of action. Yeah, we're gonna take some savage beatings this season. But I assure you, it's only a one-year proposition. We'll be a force to be reckoned with sooner rather than later.
