Wow. Backbreaker looks so... shitty! No excitement for it here. The players look horrible. Did you see the retarded looking players? Do I need to mention how bad the players look again? If you want a fun tackling game why not take it back in the day a bit and pull out your N64 and pop in NFL Blitz. That was some fun tackling where you could kick each others ass even after the play was over. Those were some good times!


Backbreaker doesn't look very good from the videos I saw. Just because it shares the same euphoria engine as GTA IV doesn't mean it will be good. That's like saying that because Spanglish has Adam Sandler in it means it will be good. WRONG! It may have some cool looking tackles but until I see otherwise I'll stick with my Madden.

Yeah I like a game that has glitches everywhere much better than a game that has so many glitches that it is still incomplete and not available to play. In my mind the fact that we can actually play Madden Trumps any features that BackBreaker has to offer. Sorry but I would rather be playing a game than dreaming about a game that may or may not be available to play in the future.

Like I said, games like Backbreaker try so hard to make everything perfect that they stay in development so long by the time they come out they are obsolete. So are they working on fixing their shitty looking players?

I don't have many problems with Madden. One thing I've had a problem with and sometimes feel like breaking my game is when I go out of bounds to stop the clock and the damned thing keeps ticking! You know I played Madden 2002 last month(just found it and said what the hell) and couldn't believe how horrible the graphics were back then. Ok now I'm just ranting about random stuff.

Backbreaker may end up being a cool game but if they sit and screw with the thing so long that a better game is out what would be the point in getting it? Oh and by the way fix the look of the players! Have I said that enough? Ok I believe no developer of the game will ever see this but oh well!

I like how all the players look like superman with abs of steel. I AM GOD IN THE FORM OF A VIDEO GAME CHARACTER. Anyways, I'd rather they keep it in development and make it smooth once it does come out than rush it and make it full of bugs and generally less fun to play. gogo madden.

For a game that is generally less fun to play, it sure is odd that Madden always averages at least 2 million copies sold in its first week of release !

It has no competition because there is no way to compete with it. It has the best gameplay, best graphics, and the best online user experience. The NFL even agrees that its the best, hence selling the rights to be the only game maker involving NFL teams to EA.

online, no way in hell, have you tried getting online on ncaa 09?

and I'm using ncaa cause it's the closest one to madden 09

The patch that they are releasing has nothing to do with glitches. It has to do with updating the game ? Have you ever played WoW. or EverQuest or any other MMoRPG ? Same concept. New things are added to games all of the time via patches.
