So basically you are saying it would be wise to just make a depth chart at every spot wr1, wr2, cb1, cb2 etc?

If you have players in the depth chart at WR1, WR2, etc. then it won't pull from the WR list at all. It will only pull reserves from that specific position, so if you have only one player at WR1, then that is the only player who will get any plays at that position. Supposedly if you have 2 players as WR1, they'll sub for each other when tired. That being said, the energy settings must have changed somehow because our 2nd QB didn't play despite being on the depth chart and being the same level. If you don't have players at the WR1, WR2, etc. slots then it is supposed to pull from the generic WR chart.

We had a tackle with 28 stamina play all offensive plays (64) with the sub settings set at 85-90. The backup wasn't even on ST (and got 0 plays - you should have seen the PM I got from him )

This is the best play I've seen so far:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=78591&pbp_id=47254

Check out the TE. I think somebody rang the dinner bell on him.

Has anyone else seen the play (I cant find the thread with the link) where the QB rushes from his own five, breaks THIRTEEN FUCKING TACKLES and makes it to the end zone?

Its like Vick running from an escaped doberman....

Yeah, there were a few of those a couple seasons ago (don't think it happened last season) where some teams tried a WR in the QB slot, and the WR went all Tecmo BO on the other team.
Probably can still find them in the Goal Line Blitz forum somewhere.

Check out my depth chart for CB 1-5 and WR 1-5, seemed to work nicely.

Yeah, its because QBs have high strength for passing and it also works when running, wasn't this play in the D league though? Chances are most players don't have high strength or tackling to bring down a QB who has much higher str than all of them for passing.

I agree. You should only share those tidbits with us. Though I had already made the changes you recommended. i just didn't get how Bort was thinking it worked.

It's really nothing secret or hidden, besides any smart owner would look at my depth chart anyway . Plus, not everyone has the stellar corners and wide receivers that the Buddhas do so it may not work as well for others.

Not sure if you have noticed or not but we have a lot of dumb owners.
