Wow that is crazy...that happened to a team I was on, the new owner signed on for a week, we lost 4 games, he signed a GM, we won out...but he never signed on again...nearly screwed the whole team over.
Originally posted by ultrajer Devils: I would like to commend the only 2 players on the team that stuck with the new owner OT Thomas Tailer and OT Ratis Faction, thanks for hanging here there for the new guy, he looks like he's working hard to get the team into shape. They do have some quality starters but lack depth to hold everyone off for 60 minutes.
Robse (Thomas) has also signed a LB on to the Devils. We are glad these guys stayed on with the team. We are doing our best not to be a cupcake team. We will be some competition. Dont look past us on your schedule!
Great write up, thanks for taking the time to do it.

Boghoppers: They lost 13 players to FA, but man have they fricking upgraded, without even looking at the other teams in the league yet, this will be the team to beat this season. Offensively they have 2 20+ HB's to run behind behind a line that has 6 players 20+. With a level 18 QB and only 3 average WR's, this team will run the ball often. Defensively they added 3 high octane tackles, 4 LB'ers, 2 CB's and 1 SS. The middle is built but the corners and safeties could be the weak spot, if there is one. Overall a very solid team for this league.
Not that I put much weight in preseason games, but unforunately the running game makes them a bit one dimensional...i forgot to set our d to 3 - 4 and we still handled them pretty easily with no backups on the d line and by playing a split at 50 - 50 run to pass D...

Keep believing it is all that easy...I love it when you do. The guy that was doing our AI had a family issue...we went into the game with the AI enabled and the settings all wacked out...like inside the 20...pass a VERY high % of the time. Our def AI was wacked out too...congrats to you Legion...but I wouldn't put too much confidence in that game. If it makes your day to think it was a big feat...go ahead and pat yourself on the back. Enjoy it though...reality will set in soon enough.

hence the reason i opened my comment with "Not that I put much weight in preseason games"...im not worried about you guys b/c you arent even in my conference...regardless of what you do or don't do, my team will be one of the top teams in the league again this season, although the team to beat in zeta is the cheetahs...top to bottom looks like zeta has the edge this season thanks to the drop off of some key alpha teams, and a much better recruiting effort out of zeta...good luck to you guys, you will still be a top team, i was just commenting that b/c of your team make up, you are pretty one dimensional...i dont buy the AI excuse because ours was messed up too and we still handled you...
Although it is funny...you "don't put much weight in it" yet you do still seem to have an edge in what your saying...because you "don't buy the AI excuse"...it isn't an excuse brother...just stating the facts...the old OC's daughter went into the hospital (emergency style)...she is in ICU now. It wasn't finished but was engaged. Too bad you won't get a good test of your AI since you played that and then the Doom (solid CPU team lol) then face a weak team in game one...hope you have all your ducks in a row before you face off against Nebraska...would suck to lose to them. Just cus you never got to really see what your AI settings could do.
And as for you Taint...have some pride...could you please represent Dublin with a little more class...maybe at least finish .500?
