I think the top 5 teams will still be top teams out West, but it will be really interesting to see what changes this season.

First of, who has the good builds with the new sim? Lol. This one is completely arbitrary. Some people are trying to make out how they were smart all along to have more 'balanced' builds, but I think some people who have crappy builds are going to find they still have crappy builds. And some good teams will stay good. And how smart were you if you build a crappy player under the old rules assuming that Bort would fix it for you one day? Sounds pretty dumb to me. But I definitely think some good teams will suffer substantially. One thing I will say about A#6 West, there is a lot of strength (literally) in that conference, and I don't think strength was nerfed the way speed was.

Yea a good analysis. Some will be set back, some will be set apart. Depends on how you built em.

We held up okay it seems today, we had some very stiff competition in the Slashers who played well.

Was an interesting game. San Diego's a good team, for sure.

For some reason Morid isn't happy about my Cover 2 scheme vs. your goalline offense. Not sure why?

Last season, I think the East was slightly better than the west (the champ came from our division, and interleague play seemed to favor the East). This season, it looks like West is far better than the East. If nothing else, this is due to a supposed champion team (Tecmo Allstars) being gutted and becoming a punching bag - at least for most of the season.

We still have some great teams in the East and a strong newcomer, but its an easy call this season.

We're looking forward to playing the Bugeaters in inter-conference play - and at the same time not really looking forward to that game, if you know what I mean.

Never count the East out, Albert. I think our conference was looked at as the underdog in both of the previous seasons, and in both cases the Eastern teams showed they were made of sterner stuff in the cross-conference games and the playoffs. That said, I think you're probably right -- the West does look awfully strong this season.

You know, its funny...I echo both my GM and Weiss.

The West does look a little tougher this season, but the schedule in the East is pretty scary in itself. I think we have one more "gimme" game than the West (Blue Wolf and All-Stars), but we're still a very balanced league.

Mattman and I were talking about both leagues yesterday and think that the West has gone down in overall strength because of lower average levels than last season. I don't think levels are always an indication of how good a team is, but there is a big disparity between this season and last.

Interleague play will be interesting again and will probably be big games for many teams to get into the playoffs. I see the East walking away with it and possibly the championship. You guys have 9 or 10 teams that could legitimately be fighting for those 8 spots. The West has 8 tops.

Yea I definately think the East gets the nod this season. Considering as Weiss stated, the East was considered the underdog in both previous seasons, both in which the East won it all. Maybe that will turn the tides to favor a Western team finally taking the cake? Who knows.

We pulled LLLL for the interconference match-up, definately wouldn't have been our first choice

Are the Slashers on the list to make the top 8? The last 2 seasons we haven't been.... Hope to keep it that way again!

well, VV is hoping to put on a better show than last year. although we suffered a huge loss in free agency with Big_Z our #1 CB signing a lucrative contract elsewhere.

Yea that can be tough.
We lost our starting OLBs, and our #2/5 CB along with our slot WR.

Tough.

I'm trying to do some scouting based off the preseason... I just hope people weren't sandbagging those games.
