It obviously is a players market now, and owners are breaking the bank to sign them. Time will only tell if the spending spree is worth the investment. To me, some of the owners that is spending all the cash on roster now is bound to bankrupt during the season. It is not like you are going to dominate the league/conference with your high salary level 10. Most owners think as long as they win, the balance will be fine. While there will be 4/16 teams with playoff home games that may break even at season end with standard stadium. I wonder how many owners actually thought about finances and laid out the yearly earning/expenses.

It is a tough market out there now and you are competing with 1000+ teams for that high level player, but is that player really that worth it spending 100K salary and 125K in bonus? Times that by 20-30 players and well, you know the rest. I think if you actually gor a late start on the game, you are better off signing low level players and invest on your stadium upgrades and be ready for season 5.

I am not blasting any owners here, I just looked at the current market and saw some owners that really doesn't care about the team future. All they are looking at is now and try to hide the fact that the team will not even make it to end of this season. Well, I say good luck and I will look you up at the unemployed line in few seasons.


Are you serious. $125k SB's for a level 13 or under. What the hell does the player need that for? Better be a long term deal so that can cover their level 24 equipment

So I got a hate PM, asking if I am so smart why is my team in the red? Most of the smart owners will know why I am in red. It wasn't because of the signing bonus or the salary I paid our players. It is not a big GLB secret. Go do some research. Maybe you wont go bankrupt!

Trade block is INSANE too. Level 10 CB just shifted for over 200k if I read it correctly.

I'm tempted to quickly start a army of my own Level-4 guys on long contracts just in time to be level 10-11 when the next 700 new teams are formed with a level-13 cap.

Man, That is like half of my payroll.

it is a crazy market but I have an issue with alot of the preset values in the game as it is. The trade values are too high in my opinion and the base salaries are tilted.

My other waaa for the day is the lack of secondary revenue for the teams. If you are going to set it up for players to have glamor items (which I am fine with) then toss in an option for the team..stadium naming rights, tv contract, off season stadium rental. I think it would help out the new teams. I moved up 130 slots because of teams folding this offseason. That just seems a little excessive.
