Restructure away... it would be cool though if they put in a performance cap on the average level of a team to reside in the Pro's and AAA's. Something where when a team gets gutted it has a rippling effect across the league that moves the next most deserving (Best record of the 2nd place teams in AAA for example) up to the Pro's and moved gutted teams back down to the A's where they will find more competition.

I mean, it can't be fun for you to Game Plan every other day when you know you can't win right? It would serve both you and the Conference you're in if they had a means to move gutted teams out of the Pro's and AAA's.

Personally, at that point I wouldn't even bother gameplanning. Hours of effort to lose 60-0 instead of 75-0 just wouldn't be that fulfilling for me.

Actually the gameplanning revolves around snap count at this point of the rebuilding. We figure to get relegated twice. It doesn't really have any effect on the league what our status is unless we did it during the middle of the season. Everyone has the same opportunity against us as it is now. It's not like we were dominant the first couple games and become easy afterwards.

What I meant was why wait to relegate a team that clearly is over matched in their league? Some kind of level qualifier seems to make sense since it would bump you down to leagues where you'd be more competitive right out of restructure. Would make things more fun for you, your players, and your opponents. I personally look forward to game planning and when we play a team such as yours it would just make me take a 3 day break. Not much fun for the players on our team either since they coast for 3 days. Reduces forum activity etc.. etc.. it hurts more than stats to play gutted teams, it hurts productivity and team participation too.

Not coming down on YOU, I'm just saying they should institute some kind of 'qualifier' for teams to remain in Pro's and AAA's.

I wouldn't be against it, because I know what you mean by reduced activity when you play us. I have it happen on my other team. The problem with that is when does the relegation happen? What about teams that formed in season 1 or 2 and you get to season 12 or 13? Do you have half a league move because of their players retiring? That is probably one of the reasons it isn't into effect. We can't finish any worse than the Decepticons did last season. On the flip side it would encourage people to have more than one player on different teams. If you only have the one player to look forward to, then yes it would be a boring three days.

It would only work for people who did the relegation during the off-season.

From an immediately selfish perspective I'd love to see the Enforcers move down to the lowest level of competition so we would have a chance to win a few games each season. That way we could also stop the bleeding with respect to fan support and morale because a 16-game losing streak is just awful.

The problem I see is that it makes promotion too easy for the teams that would come up. I would be extremely unhappy to be in a conference with a smacktalking team who weren't able to back it up, see my team earn promotion while leaving the smacktalkers in the dust, and then find the losers in my conference again next season -- just because they had a decent regular season record and 4 teams in the conference above were gutted.

Just because a team in the league above you falls apart shouldn't mean you get a free promotion. That's the only problem I have with moving teams to leagues where they are more competitive. I'd rather be patient and let relegation do its thing -- it only takes a month or two at most.

This whole thing is silly. How old are you people? Stop with the whining and find an way to win. Good grief, how hard is that?

I think it is obvious that he has decided to develop a slow build team and hopes to dominate after 3 or 4 seasons. His most likely tactic will be to transfer the said slow built players from AA or A which ever league they end up on. To his E Europe side. He is using the pro team because that should result in experience bonus for players playing under their level.

His efforts will result in that team having almost 0 fan support but that obviously is not an consideration. Also not in consideration is his fellow teams in the league who are going to have to face this powerpuff team.I figured it might suffer from funding problems. But it is possible his team could pull in reasonable amount of revenue at start of season to cover upgrades easily.

It sad fact that someone would destroy a team in effort to win another league.

That is a really interesting conclusion, considering that many of us on this team are fellow competitors in EE. I am pretty sure we wouldn't be building players that would destroy our own teams in a few seasons.

It will ruin the team here as will drive down the fan support down to level which be extremely hard to return from. That if in 3 or 4 season you lot even still playing this game. You may have the chance to return this team.

But i highly doubt you will have those player in Oceania but will ultimately transfer them to EE.
