It's overrated by most. You'll probably never have to do much more than train it.

Of course you wouldn't. That's because it's overrated.

Don't build your player based on the blocking bar. Build your player based on performance.
agree
I have seriously never looked at the bars... they mean very little

I have seen that agility is needed for playing C. I have seen many a LB rushing straight through the middle and getting the sack because the C wasn't able to push his block to a G and stop the LB rushing through the middle.
I believe a C needs to be able to spot the MLB going through the middle and have agility enough to switch from the DT to the LB. It's not necserarily needed to be the strongest if the C is able to block the DT and push him over to a G and grab the LB plowing through at the QB.
The OT doesn't need all that much agility if he is powerful. He slams into the DE no matter what and if strong enough, flattens him on the grass and rushes after the LB or if needed helping the C and G.

100 STR +11 in pancake and u should be good as a C or G OT you need a speed of 25 and agility of 30 minimum. (would got for 30-48 in both of those as preferred.)

I understand where you guys are coming from in a life situation. But BORT created the game BORT created the the rating Bars. Their has to be a correlation between the two. I am not say live and die by the bars, but they should not be total ignored. It has to be a middle ground, it not wise to go from one extreme to the other. I don't know why some would ignore the feedback that the create of the game gives us.

A play to show why speed/agility/vision are important.

Watch the whole game, it's sick how many lb blitzes and what not my guy picked up. I think anyone who says o-line is all about str/blocking now is completely full of it.

The people who say o-line is all about str/blocking are the ones who only care about pancakes and not actually blocking better. I agree with the sentiment that agility/vision/speed are important and I've been working on that in recent levels. Your guard is amazing Tengu.

Thanks, I built him with the goal of making an insanely good RG for pulls appears the side effect of that is he can pickup blitzes quite well also. Needless to say he's under 60 for both str/blocking but instead of playing catch up on the others I can now just worry about str/block.
