Alright fine then. Any time a vocal minority makes any kind of noise, I'll be sure to attribute it to the group the person is affiliated with and consider the group to operate on that level. Nevermind that these agents are loosely affliated due to a title by an arbitrary contract the game provides, the entire team is full of jerks and all should be treated as such. And it's difficult to compare professional teams to these simply because bad press can turned profitable due to the media's influence. Break down the association mold and all you've got is someone being stupid.

And please, don't tell me you're using sports fanatics as a basis for your justifications. Many of them are rabid and illogical, attacking or defending teams for the dumbest of reasons. The Gators have been a class act all year and for 1 or 2 of their vocal minority to suddenly act stupid is all it's needed to change your mind, then life is gonna be fun.

Looking back at Ortiz's post though, he really didn't say anything personal or insulting so I apologize if I seemed like I was lumping him into this.

How exactly is he to take being called out on his record by you and guys who haven't said two whiffs of logic all year long? How is he to take that exactly as not being representative of some immature bravado running rampant on your side of the discussion? Something that has gone unchecked by anyone in charge or the Gators organization. Much respect to Atro, but when the hell did the tween L33Tspeaking geeks get out of the bin in Gatorland?

I've always read both Bolt's and Atro's predictions and appreciated their opinions - even when I strongly disagreed - but treated them with respect for the time and input they put into their posts on these forums.

It is really sad that the gators cannot reign in two of your crew and put a stop to this before it blows up to a two forum post rolling banter of puerile juvenile BS and name calling. Further, the fact that El is taking offense to what Gators players are saying is just crazed. I mean man, c'mon, if some Amsterdam player came shit talking like that after a quiet and sportsmanlike year - I'd think you'd have the decency to say something. But really - there was nothing coming from the gators, including Atro - Bolt's got every damn right to lump them up and say that this is the attitude of that team. And it's just making the Gators look like some kinda "kiddie" run show.

Oh well, probably just stoking the flame war here - but have at it. Forums were worthwhile to read. If I want drama, there is better T&A in the Univision daytimes and its more amusing. Ciao.

I'm not sure why you're lumping me in with the people who have insulted them. I'm not offended by them, nor do I condone it. This has absolutely nothing to do with his team effectiveness analysis. I'm talking about judgment of character something that Bolts hasn't been analyzing all season and since this is a game, shouldn't have to. I rather like Bolts and all he's contributed to league and I've agreed and disagreed with him before. I don't like assumptions based on one example.

If an Amsterdam player came talking nonsense, I wouldn't want someone pre-judging me based on his actions, especially since I've done nothing resembling what they've done.

This is hardly a flame war, it's a debate about principles. Anyone who wants to criticize his predictions has and will do so intelligently. Anyone who wants to insult him based on it probably isn't worth listening to.

I think what Bolts is saying is that, other than Atropates, no one from Athens has come on here and told those kids to STFU. I know if any of my players started talking bad on these forums I'd be the first one to come on here and put a stop to it. They are making their team look bad and no GMs from Athens are telling them to put a sock in it and let their game do the talking.

Once again, it's only been 5 hours. Most people are at work. Give it time.

Remember guys, most of the GMs of Athens do not post on this forum activily as much as i do. I know that i am shocked by how this playful banter has gotten into a full out online fight. I do not think my guys are right, maybe it's the championship fever, but i know that these two are very respectful on our forums, and am upset that they are giving the Gators a bad image after a great season. Bolts should not judge our entire team... i will be back later to see how this settles down

SoYo is a great team, but Athens is not going to just hand them the trophy. I totally understand the frustration of our guys reading the posts in the forum getting no respect. We've had a great season and are on a 14-2 run. We held one of the best offenses in Zeta to 3 points in 8 quarters. We've let up an average of 8 points per game for the last 16 games, despite being outleveled repeatedly. If you think SoYo will put up 48 points on us, I disagree. Nonetheless, I think the time for talk is done. We've got a plan together that we feel can slay the dragon. Win or lose, I'm proud as hell of this team.

^ Co-signed. Let us represent our respected conferences on the field! I better see SoYo in the finals in AA, the gators will be waiting for a rematch win or lose ^_~! Too bad that the league is losing both predictioners this season lol ^_^.
